Poor 1st half, not a classic but a massive result. Osvaldo's goal absolutely priceless and stunning fk from SRL. after the 1st goal we started to look really confident but took our foot of the pedal a little and sat a little to deep IMO. Good subs helped inject a bit of urgency and we closed the game out well. Centre half's excellent again. Still think we are yet to fully click offensively but important that both the strikers scored especially dani who was really delighted. no massive stand outs for mom, gotta give it to dani for our 1st goal from open play - big big goal. 4th for now and lol @ man utd!

I think we played Liverpool at a great time, they were shocking and poor from Rodgers tactically. Thought they would be much better. Predicted 2-0 them, always sweet to win against the big guns when you don't expect it, sweet as they come!

We were decent at wba, but other than that we have not been as fluid as i would have expected. If we play to the best of our ability & with their missing players then we have a chance of getting something. Having said that, head says 2-0 them. No I do not think everything is great. I have been less than impressed with our performances since WBA to be honest. I have great concerns about our shape as I have mentioned and worried about lack of direct pace in forward positions, even before punch left. However it IS early days. My point was you cannot look at somebody's overall record and "remove the wins" against the top teams....it's ridiculous. If anything more kudos for beating the best teams imo.

Not necessarily. All of west spams kits, Sunderlands kits and stoke home off the top of my head are not 2013 teamwear templates. Also all teamwear designs can be altered ie west brom's tiro has stripes, our home has no wings or seam and a different colour. World cup kits are worth keeping an eye on for clues.

Quite enjoyed 1st half but we created very little. Lambo did well I thought 1st half but service was poor. 2nd half both teams tired and was a poor scrappy game, Lambo was clearly exhausted and his touch went, however service to him was even worse. Thought Cahill & Jagielka were the pick which is surprising as I was probably most worried about them but they stood up very well. Our midfield and widemen really disappointed offensively tonight. Overall pretty dire game but it was a good result. To knock the result is disrespectful imo, was not pretty but got what they needed and one step closer to topping the group.

see where you are coming from, but for me I disagree a little. Yes all the front 3 can interchange, but rickie plays central & drifts from there. Jayrod has disappointed in the bpl when playing central (which is rare), but has done well in the league cup against weaker teams. Jay is poor with his back to goal, but excels when running at defenders from the wing or deep. He has also proved effective making a late run off the shoulder.

Question I have asked myself since Osvaldo arrived. How can you play these 2 together and it work? We have not spent 15 mil on a striker like Osvaldo to have him sit on the bench regularly. In a world cup year both will NEED to play to get on that plane. It is of course very early days, but for me Norwich was not too promising. Both Lambert & Osvaldo are proven Lone strikers as part of 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3. We rarely play 4-4-2 anymore - We did at times vs Norwich, some stats flying around about making the same runs. both on in the 2nd half vs Sunderland and wasnt fluid. Rickie dropping deeper as the number 10? (waste imo), Osvaldo on the wing? (waste imo). What does everyone think? Nice problem to have but I worry about the balance.

Yeah nike ones are really nice. Here in mls all clubs do a retro adidas trefoil track top. Really nice. I know Chelsea do too but the majority of bpl clubs seem to get the minimum treatment from adidas which ****es me off considering they bend over for mls.

Fwiw I was a little disappointed when punch left, as I thought he was our best wideman last year. Now we have let mayuka leave too that obviously removes the majority of our direct players with a bit of pace. Would be surprised (and disappointed) if we don't have a superior player to come in with pace to replace one of these. Of the names mentioned, would be delighted with ince or Lennon but would think they would be long shots.

The fact poch said we played well is disturbing, we did not. In denial? Norwich were average and we were poor. 1-0 about right IMO and that was from probably the one moment if quality all game. Strange team selection for me. Why have 2 fullbacks on the bench, especially with one able to play either side. If shaw is not fit then he should not be in the squad, if he is fit then he starts. Chambers has done ok but clyne is better & much more effective going forwards. Redmond was mom & Clyne would have been a better match. We seemed to start with a flat 4-4-2 & then changed shape about 2 times in the 1st half alone. I wondered how poch would fit osvaldo & rl together and the worrying thing is I am still wondering as mp must be. Since reading away we have only scored 5 league goals in our last 9 & no goals from open play this season. That is a big worry. Thankfully we have improved defensively but at this moment if seems poch has no idea of his best 11 and no idea of his best formation. IMO 4231 has been our best and 433 looked good at WBA too.

What is the point in having 2 fullbacks on the bench? Especially with one that can play both sides. No cork, maybe he is off even though he has travelled.
