  1. I have to think he is going, as otherwise the Club should have issued a statement by now to counter the article in the papers.
  2. But why be so trite about it, if it happens every year and will continue to do so? What new is going to be added to the discussion? If there was something that hadn't been discussed before, rather than the same old boring rubbish that we have had for the past 3 years, then the thread might have some merit. I look forward to be being shown to be wrong and something new crops up. However, I won't hold my breath.
  3. Why do you come out and whinge like a little girl every summer?
  4. No, we're not a business, we're supporters.
  5. I love the bit..... but things could be a whole lot simpler if they got a deal done quickly with Mamadou Sakho an instant replacement. ....so Sakho, who isn't good enough for Liverpool is obviously good enough for us, even if it is a downgrade. And we should just accept it as it helps them out!!! They don't realise the absurdity/arrogance of that argument.
  6. Well somebody needs to show this to Les and Ralph - http://kopworld.net/lfc-opinion/southampton-wont-be-able-to-keep-van-dijk/24395 - as it seems a fait accompli. Now in all this, it is the arrogance that is most distasteful. Maybe Liverpool think, given their past dealings buying our players, that they can do what they want, when they want. It might well transpire that VVD will end up at Liverpool. But it is the arrogance that makes them such an unattractive club. And maybe the worst thing about it is that they don't even recognise their arrogance.
  7. FGS guys, its just a bit of football banter (just that some [not all]) of the Scousers actually are stupid enough to believe it.
  8. LOL. ANyway, out of curiosity I popped over to your board, and people seem to agree with your post about preventing an auction. But what you and your cohorts fail to understand is that maybe, just maybe, we don't actually want to sell to you or anyone else. Your arrogance blinds you to the situation.
  9. I think Everton are going to be rather more pre-occupied about losing Lukaku. Maybe they'll get some silly sum from Chelsea, who are supposedly about to sign him. If they stump up £70m for VVD, then I would be happier than if he went to Liverpool, and it would be ****ing funny to see the "poor relation" steal a march on them.
  10. plus.... 25% sell on clause (of the total, not profit) £5m a year if LFC reach CL.
  11. Doesn't work like that. Saints approach Napoli and ask whether they can talk to the player. They get permission, agree terms with the player, and then go back to Napoli and try and agree terms with them. It is not as you suggest, going behind Napoli's back.
  12. Would be funny if they had an 18 month transfer ban slapped on them.
  13. We stop being a selling club when a wage cap that we can afford is put in place. TBH it would be to the benefit to all of football, but the big clubs would never agree to it, nor do I think the PL would. Of course the wage cap would have to be either for the whole of UEFA if not FIFA.

    Puel out

But 9, the more important question is 'were you entertained'. I wasn't. Exceedingly boring football. Far preferred Adkins/Poch 14th to Puel's 8th.
  15. Oh FGS get a grip. Of course Reed et al are aware of what is going on. Why do so many supporters think that they know what's up while those running the club don't?
  16. Don't mind the Scousers who support Liverpool. Can't stand all those Cockneys and people from all over the rest of the country who have no connection to LFC (or any other "fashionable" club for that matter) who spout off and phone up radio call ins saying we this, we that.
  17. How would you spend the £60m for VVD?.......All my mates, crates of Cristal, hookers (well maybe not) and jet out to Vegas and put what's left on red.

    Puel out

Nothing compared to the utter shít served up vs Hull, albeit the stakes were somewhat lower.
  19. In all the sales that the club make, it seems that Les is the one that Kops (!!) it, but it might well be Kat pulling the strings and demanding that it be done.
  20. That might be so, but if you alienate you customers, which this will/is, then you might find that the customers stop coming. Its not so much selling him, but selling him and so many others to one club. I have actually renewed my season ticket for 17/18, but regret doing so. I just find football boring and the monetary side of it distasteful. Throw in the club seemingly happy to sell all the best players every season, with the hope of replacing with cheaper and then selling them, with the reasoning that it is business, then it is a business that I find a little exasperating and I am not really on the same wave length. I am not sure quite what the point of taking part in a competition if you seemingly accept that there is no chance of winning it. TBH though, I just can't see much point to the Premier League any more.
  21. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-4573656/Southampton-star-Charlie-Austin-accused-cheating.html
  22. Think I might send my season ticket back and get one at Anfield instead.
  23. Definitely a great pair of tits. This is a pair of great tits........ They are very pretty but not quite the same thing.
  24. The problem with footy boards is when muppets bring inane social media drivel on to the forum. As for ill-informed views, do you disagree with Hatch's about her baps? I thought he was quite well informed.
