So the obvious one to compare to is Leroy Sané. Looking at that list, the first 2 are a little ridiculous. As is the 3rd and 4th. You can't judge all transfers by the ridiculous fees some clubs pay. So if we had got £40m, rather than £38.5m, then I suspect people would have been happier as psychologically starting with a 4 seems a whole load better.

I find it interesting that St Etienne's supporters seem to be very keen on getting him, while our supporters are the opposite.
