Agree, now that I know Cech is "only" 32.
-
I'm surprised. I should have checked how old he was as the way he has been "discarded" by Chelsea I thought he must have been about 4 years older.
-
Problem with Cech is the £7m price tag given his age. Boruc would be peanuts by comparison.
-
Mignolet is getting a load of stick. Would Boruc suit them better?

Really? I think this is a cheap knock off who can only change water into nasty ****y beer.

Done it. The only "complaint" I have about the questions, is that there was no option for "not applicable". I have in the past 2 seasons only conversed twice with stewards. One was to tell me to sit down and the other slightly annoyed me. My old man has Alzheimer's and can't always work the ticket reader and turnstile that well. He completely cocked it up so we had to go back out and through the side door and the steward tutted his disapproval towards us while opening up. Annoyed me, but I let it pass as didn't want to embarrass the old man.

Can never really keep up with who the tools are on here. Are you generally acknowledged to be one of them?
-
No I didn't say 1m shilling was worth £56k. I actually was replying to the post which quoted millions (plural) and having read the Kenyan article which claims it was 8 million, that comes to £56k. I really ****ing hate smart arses who are so pathetically pedantic like in this instance. Makes posting very tiresome.
-
What are you on about?
-
WHICH IS ABOUT £56k (IE mostly the car)

Might be good to bring us back down a peg or two.

In fairness he hasn't had many saves to make so hard to judge. His cock up this evening is not dissimilar to what AB would have done. On balance, I was more than happy with AB, but long term FF is a better choice, and let's not go through the AB not having a chance thing again. Couldn't face Irene trotting out all the same bollyhox again.

Are you the bloke who sits in front of me in Block 30?

Who is this **** of a commentator. Forster kept 4 clean sheets!! Played 11, conceded 5, means a minimum of 6 clean sheets, but as it is, it's 7.

Just about to write that myself (in the full expectation a goal would come straight after posting it).

Just hear Colin Murray taking someone to task about Liverpool and Southampton being totally different situations and being incomparable. He acknowledged that we lost our top 3 scorers but couldn't quite follow the rest of his argument, and thought that his "Koeman might struggle next season" to be a complete red herring. Being form Northern Ireland I presume he supports either Liverpool or Man Utd, and given his stance, guess it has to be Liverpool.

Some teams don't need managing, or not hugely as the players are good enough to know what to do. Liverpool last season were such a team as the 2 forwards knew exactly what to do and were good enough to do it - ie score more goals than they let in. Avram Grant at Chelsea was another example of the manager not really having the hardest job in the world. But the abject start to the season, having spent £130m over the closed season, rather suggests that Rodgers is not good. Sure a lot of teams rely on a couple of players, but not when they have spent £243m since their manager arrived (and realising £108m on players sold) in June 2012. He has a somewhat chequered record Watford P32 W13 D7 L12 Reading P23 W6 D6 L11 Swansea P96 W39 D29 L28 Liv'pool P115 W60 D24 L31 Quite what Huw Jenkins saw of him at Reading is a mystery, but he did well at Swansea. Got them to 3rd pace in the Champ and promoted and then 11th place (47 points) before Liverpool snapped him up. For a club of Liverpool's stature, I guess it was a risk and quite a strange appointment. I am sure that many were expecting to have a world renowned name, rather than one managing a smallish provincial club. It would be akin to them appointing Tony Pulis because he got Palace to 11th last season (but on 45 points). But they've done this before with Woy Hodgson, albeit his track record is pretty impressive really, and that didn't work out. Suarez/Sturridge partnership obviously was something really really special, and made Rodgers look a genius.

Definitely don't want Brenda to get the chop.
