The ‘seriously weak toe poke’ hit the side netting. I am not excusing him. It’s just that very, very few keepers would have saved those goals.

Nothing to defend. A toe-poke into the bottom corner from a few yards out. Nobody is ever going to save that. Which doesn’t mean that I think he’s a good keeper. Just that some of you have never played football in your lives.

He did well to get back and make that tackle but he was fortunate that the forward miscontrolled the ball and gave him the chance. The forward only got that chance in the first place because Stephens was ball watching in their half.
