Let me guess... RBS, LLoyds TSB, Halifax?

Woah, steady on! The club is still a business and every extra ticket is desperately needed. We are still deep in recession.
-
I suspect that it depends on your viewpoint, literally.

I have my own seat in the Kingsland for the JPT and I assumed that the FA cup would be the same so I went to the TO first thing Monday morning only to find out that the half the ground was not open. I have no problem with that in itself but the OS only says 'only certain seating blocks open in the Itchen, Northam and Kingsland stands', which could hardly be more vague. It's not 'moaning and groaning' when a customer raises a point about customer service, and before anybody starts talking about fans supporting the club through wind and rain, a large proportion of the people who go to games are not as dedicated as most of us on here. Many are elderly and of restricted mobility and getting to the game in the middle of winter is enough of a problem, let alone trying to get tickets.

Looks a bit uncomfortable. You'll need a cushion to sit on that.

Don't please. I had a tooth pulled out last week after the dentist had spent 40 minutes cutting away at the gum and drilling out the bone to find out that it was split and had to come out anyway. I shall have to gum my way through the turkey.

Brilliant! Get loads of cashback on one of your own cards. No-one apart from the British Government could think of such a scheme!

I've always got on at Eastleigh and left the car at Fleming Park. It depends where you're coming from. -
Opened the Kingsland Centre and worked outwards from there? There is a higher proportion of STs there and they are more likely to buy tickets than others, I should have thought.

Apparently all the Palace players are available: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1234924/Crystal-Palace-entire-squad-sale-Wigan-Sunderland-target-Ambrose.html

Or you can get out at Winchester and take a Bluestar bus #1 or Eastleigh and take a #2 to the war memorial. Both are are every 20 mins. It's an 18 minute walk from there. http://www.bluestarbus.co.uk/routelist.shtml

Sound so much better the 'Eurofighter' doesn't it? What do the Germans call it?
-
Are there any right-backs in there?
-
It's either 'what have I done?' or 'what am I going to do?'
-
Interesting. Is that why they're called 'New'?
-
I went with my daughter to an evening game at Chelsea having driven 2 hours through torrential rain knowing that the game was bound to be called off. We had even bought a programme and it wasn't until we got to our seats that the steward told us. The ones I feel sorry for are those that went to Newcastle on New Years Day (?) when the game was called off because the streets outside were 'a bit icy'. Northern softies!

The lady is questioning why the season-ticket holders cannot have a few days' exclusivity to be allowed to buy their own seats. Going to the match is also a social event and regulars like to catch up the gossip with their neighbours. It is one of the few privileges of having a ST. The ticket office were expecting about 16,000 which is half the stadium, although I would have expected substantially more than that if the main Kingsland had been opened. This is of course entirely a commercial decision for the club but I would expect that a substantial numer of STs will not be going because of the stand closures.

There's also the long-running dispute about subsidies to the civilian airplane industry through military contracts..

It just shows that you should never let economists any where near the real world because all they'll do is slap a tax on it.
-
Would you lend them money?

I've already had a bity of a go about this and I received a few derogatory replies for my trouble. You have to watch the OS like a hawk and even then the information is very limited. Any joy with the Luton game?

I've just found this on the Southend site. http://www.shrimperzone.com/vb/showthread.php?p=1062496 go to post #15 so... 10 before the second Sunday in April is a two match ban. 15 cards in a season and it's a three-match ban. FTCM is First team Competitive Matches, I presume. (I find this 'Shrimpers' thing confusing because my father played for Harwich & Parkestone FC and they were called The Shrimpers.)
-
You might be advised to get some advice, It's free. I may be wrong but I think the latest law changes back in April only apply to England and Wales. Good luck.

Have you ever been in a Ladies' toilet? The first time that I did I was shocked by how smart it was. They even had wallpaper! And the handwriting was so neat. That's because they can use two hands.

No problem. The other change for this season is that the suspension takes immediate effect instead of the previous seven day delay. There's no appeal for a yellow card anyway. I've been trying to find the dates for 10 and 15 but I can't see them on the FA site. I looked into this a couple of months ago and found a few newspaper references but all I can find now are obscure links to the 'Football League of West Wales' and suchlike. I shall persevere, I never give up.
