  1. I have become apathetic and I couldn't care less.
  2. Chris Perry, home v Birmingham. I agree, the defence was awful.
  3. There were several cameras there so the pictures must be sitting around somewhere.
  4. It was a great reaction save. From my seat in the Kingsland at the half-way line I could see that he reacted by raising his right arm and palmed the ball up and away. It was certainly the turning-point of the game. A great result directly resulting from the brilliance of KD and all the key decisions going our way for once. I came away feeling that I had got my money's worth for a change. Can we play against 10 men every week please?
  5. It must have been something he said. It couldn't have been for the foul and there was no indication that the referee was going to take any action until he suddenly brought the card out.
  6. Too old for us then! I must be thinking about someone else.
  7. Isn't he getting on a bit now?
  8. Didn't Alan partridge come from Norwich? You're not him, are you?
  9. I'll be there of as usual. The game against Norwich last season was a wonderful exhibition of football sportsmanship. None of the primadonnas that you get in the premiership, just good honest pros going at it hammer and tongs. Played at a cracking pace, if a player got clattered they just got up again and carried on. It was truly a memorable game. We lost of course.
  10. League cup is a domestic match but your point is still valid.
  11. I only saw the goal 'highlights' but he looked very slow for their third goal. The scorer just runs straight past him on his blind side, but you could also say that about most of the other players.
  12. Except that going through to the next round could have given us a big lump of money (by our standards).
  13. I agree. We should decide on our best back four and then stick with them. I'm not sure that those 4 are the best, though.
  14. That Vela looks useful. Any chance of getting him here on loan?
  15. It said so in the Mail so it must be true http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1061429/Venables-confirms-Toon-talks--El-Tel-set-step-Newcastle-hot-seat-today.html 'After Hoddle turned the job down because of the uncertainty surrounding the future ownership'
  16. He's just turned down Newcastle, do you really think he would want to come here?
  17. League Cup 26th November 2007, Tottenham 2 Middlesbrough 0, Bale 71mins Huddlestone 74mins.
  18. When did that apply to Gazza then? He wasn't sent off in that game at Wembley (Notts Forest?) 'though he should have been.
  19. Accurate that it's a rumour, or accurate that he's in financial trouble ?
  20. If the chairmen can't be bothered to attend the games, why should the fans?
  21. You've got a point there. Not attending is grossly disrespectful to the host team.
  22. And a welcome from me too. It's because we all care so much that we have such strong feelings. Many's the time that I wish I didn't.
  23. I was paraphrasing Gordon Strachan (I think it was he) who explained that if you are not physically tired then you are not in a condition to make the correct decisions, but you are correct, they are inter-related.
  24. That sounds like: 'Now look what you've made us do'
  25. Agreed, no apology necessary, but it's possible to be sceptical without being negative. We all sit at the ground in different seats and we all have different views about how the club is being run. That's the point of a forum.
