It was a poor effort from Bazunu but it shows the importance of having a shot no matter how speculative it might seem.

Just a bit?

Get three women in the same room and you can’t get a word in edgeways 🤯

"Yeah, absolutely, I mean..." Very articulate! Some fair points made by Barton.

With six months left on his contract?

They just won’t stop talking. Sometimes it seems that they feel that they have to say something. I know that if those two were sitting me they wouldn’t get through the game in one piece.

Apparently on Prime there is an option to have ‘no commentary’.

I understand the desire for such information but a cursory glance tells you how unreliable it is. Fitness measurements are not in dispute as they are independent of external factors but the flow of a football match has too many independent variables to enable any meaningful analysis beyond so-and-so had a good game. As to influencing the starting lineup, that would explain a lot. As a lawyer might say, “I rest my case”.

They’re all migrants themselves. They fly in and they fly out again.

The difference between Wednesday and Saturday was that he no longer had Sulemana on the wing in front of him. I don’t like the way that he sits way inside near the centre line leaving his opposing right winger twenty yards of time and space to look up and play in a measured cross.

I thought he looked quite lively and useful when he came on last Saturday.
