It does the club no good to have a regular first teamer out injured for quite a while. I’m sure he’ll come back stronger. If his absence means that we play less of the nerve-wracking triangles around our own goal then it can only be a good thing. My concern now is that McCarthy is somehow seen as a better bet than Lumley. At least it’s only four games in which either has to excel. Cross our fingers and hold our hands over our eyes.

I don’t think many dispute that the climate is changing. But it always has. The question is how much, if any, of this is due to human activity.
