Whitey Grandad

Nope. Not me. I did not like the way that I was treated.

It’s getting ridiculous now. If they can put off games for a month they might as well wait until the end of the season and then play all the games at once.

Doesn’t this count as “unable to fulfil their fixtures “?

If managers of that calibre can’t do anything for them then maybe they are beyond help.

Doesn’t the new ownership mean that there is not the same pressure to sell?

Of course it was. It was English:)

Me too. I have a memory like an elephant and the physique to match. We had to stand there and take their taunts and insults when all we wanted to do was get on the coach and go home.

Yes, the international break is from 24-Jan until 2-Feb. ”However, FIFA have confirmed that, as long as clubs release called-up players, they will not stop the Premier League arranging games during this period. ”

I’m jealous.

VAR is not supposed to re-referee the game yet that is what is happening. These ‘soft’ penalties are distorting the balance of the game. It’s much easier to try to win a penalty than it is to score a goal so attackers play to make the defender try win the ball or they hammer the ball towards the arms.

I was working on the earlier figures of 35.4m/2.38 secs so something around 60mph would seem more likely.

Three steps forward, one step back wasn’t it?

Agreed.

Hmm. About 33mph. Not as fast as you might think.

That’s your first mistake.

Does anybody know the speed of the ball from that kick?

Is that the new update called 'gullible' ?

"no-one should lose their livelihood" That worked well, didn't it. Countless businesses have folded or are up to their ears in debt because of the restrictions.

Anything acid works. Orange juice, vinegar apparently.

Then we just need to do a few thousand tests per player

How often did you watch at home?

What's that got to do with anything? Once or twice. Away games are an irrelevance and only give money to the other teams. Home season tickets are where the support is.

Perhaps now they can concentrate on the league.

I’m not familiar with that game at the moment as I’m miles away on a weak internet link.

No, just referees that are officiating under the same conditions. This has been my problem all along with VAR. The same interpretation and application of The Laws should apply at all levels of the game.
