  1. They don’t actually need to have one. Just a hint of its existence might be enough.
  2. You’re missing the point. This is nothing to do with the law but is everything to do with politics. Those who make the rules have to abide by them and be squeaky clean. What chance is there of ordinary people making sacrifices and abiding by the rules/guidelines/laws now that this selfish hypocrite has decided that they don’t apply to him? Now wait for all those who have been issued fines to ask for their money back.
  3. Current death rate maybe but still way behind overall.
  4. The figures are not comparable. One is a cumulative total, the other is a distribution of individual events. Not worth getting our knickers in a twist over though.
  5. The possibility of being infected by any individual encounter follows a Poisson distribution. A large number of events each with a small probability of success.
  6. Just as random. They follow the Poisson distribution as first detailed by Ladislaus Bortkiewicz. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ladislaus_Bortkiewicz
  7. If you see a queue, join it!
  8. There are restrictions on using the furlough scheme. Staff have to have been on a PAYE scheme and the employer has to be registered for online PAYE. It can't be repeated too often, the employer doesn't get a penny of the money. It all goes to the employee. In many cases it's either that or get laid off.
  9. Perranporth Beach is 3km long so 300 people on it would not even be noticed and the car park at Saunton Sands has plenty of spaces. It’s time that these little Hitlers got back to their regular daytime jobs.
  10. Good news for some but from my personal view I’m unlikely to drive there with my caravan Plus there is the Common Travel Area although I believe that Ireland is imposing a 14 day quarantine on arrivals by sea or air from Britain.
  11. France is not exempt, or won’t be. Despite what Johnson said the other Sunday nothing has been agreed with France. Which is a bit of a bugger.
  12. Don’t worry. You can’t get pregnant from those.
  13. Personally I would write off the rest of this season but I can see a reason for trying some games this season behind closed doors. It would be a dry run to see if there is any commercial appetite for the product on offer. I don’t think I would pay to watch any of it myself.
  14. You’ve completely missed the point, as usual. With people such as you around it’s no wonder that the country’s fooked.
  15. You really can’t be that stupid. The EEE/EFTA option (that’s the Norway option to you) has been available to us right from the start and could have saved us all a load of grief. It was the ERG and other extreme Brexiteers that refused to countenance it.
  16. This is a crucial point. No amount of prediction could ever include such a possibility, or that of a goalkeeper taking his eye off the ball for a moment. If predicting match outcomes were that easy then people would be making a fortune on the Football Pools, or whatever their equivalent is these days.
  17. That’s what I would expect but their pricing is going to be tricky and it’s anybody’s guess as to when next season’s tickets will go on sale.
  18. But without Dominic Cummings.
  19. We haven’t had full value out of the current design yet.
  20. Wonderful, a great character. We forget about such people at our peril.
  21. I have a Norwich away ticket sitting on my desk but there’s no point in chasing that up yet. The situation regarding my two season tickets is more significant with over three hundred pounds’ worth of value left on them.
  22. That’s irrelevant. They aren’t in power so anything else is speculation.
  23. Disgusting. Manslaughter at least.
  24. Ah. That probably explains why I haven’t won for a while
  25. Me? Costco? Do I seem that cheap?
