I don’t know what you were hoping to show but I think you’ve proved my point. Let me put it this way, where do you think the FTSE should be today? It has achieved nothing in 20 years despite the boost to It’s value from dollar earnings.
-
And why should I? Whether I agree with that point or not is irrelevant. Life’s not fair and I don’t have to be even-handed.
-
Which playground do you live in? Am I supposed to go through several thousand posts trying to find every one that uses silly terminology? I don’t give a toss about the rest of the world, I was referring to the word that you and others have used. It’s time you learnt that the world’s not fair. Please Sir! Please Sir! That nasty man told me off but he didn’t do the same for anybody else. It’s not fair! Now look what you’ve made me do ?
-
What? Am I now to be criticised for not criticising every instance of name-calling that anybody might have said, ever? Yeah, it's alwasys somebody else's fault, isn't it? Let's deal with one thing at a time.
-
Go back another few years, the last decade say.
-
That is so unbelievably childish of you. I cannot speak for others so I only speak for myself. My criticism is aimed at you and you alone.
-
Tu Quoque is such a feeble debating technique. If you can't recall any criticism it's perhaps there isn't any? Can we please maintain at the least some pretence of sensible debate.

Cedric Soares - Official: Loaned to Arsenal
Whitey Grandad replied to Saint Garrett's topic in The Saints
From The Sunday Times, "At the interval Hasenhuttl chided his midfielders for becoming overly eager in their attempts to dispossess Pogba, as two or three players pressing the France international at the same time left the team vulnerable if they failed to win the ball. What was interesting, though, was that Southampton saw a chance to recover the ball every time Pogba got on the ball — and he did give away a lot of possession." -
Everything that Johnson does or says is aimed at domestic consumption. Here is Sir Ivan Rogers's latest essay on the implications of no-deal. https://blogs.spectator.co.uk/2019/09/ivan-rogers-the-realities-of-a-no-deal-brexit/

Anyone who uses terms like ‘Remoaner’ cannot expect to be treated as a serious adult.

No, if he’d gone to James then Mata would have had a free run in behind him. The best that he could do was try to hold things up until he got help from the inside. It was poor defending as a defence, not as an individual player. -
Wes Hoedt - Loaned to Antwerp: Official

Quite so. Those that we bought were potentially good players. They just didn’t live up to their potential. -

Are you saying that she posts on here? I’m betting it’s under the name of Heisenberg. -

Yes, having them playing proper games instead of languishing in the reserves means there must be more chance of offloading them no matter how small. -
Of course there is history between us but that's what it is now. They are a tinpot Division 3 team and we should treat them with the disdain that they deserve. The more we big it up into the most important game of the decade and so on the more it inflates their fragile sense of importance. Turn up, do the business and leave them to reminisce on any past glories that they can imagine. Unfortunately I shall be in North Carolina at the time and on the road driving but my thoughts shall be with all of you.

US immigration has always been notorious although we have been through it in a couple of minutes and have also waited in line at New York cruise terminal for over four hours. This. of course, is not related to us leaving the EU.

You are displaying your own limited experience and views here. EHIC - It's ok f you're young and healthy but just wait until you get older and start to have medical conditions and a complicated medical history. Insurance can cost well into four figures. Travel insurance - Not an expensive purchase? See above. More than 90 days - Many people lead a dual existence between different countries. EU driving - You obviously don't remeber the bad old days. Two type of international driving licence needed and geen cards for insurance. Immigration queues - "Might take a bit longer outbound" Just a 'bit'? Try two or three hours. You must be too young to remember the bad old days. Pet passport - Just because you don't have a pet doesn't mean that many, many others don't. I know several people that do. As I have said before, selfish and irresponsible.

Interesting, thanks. That still wouldn’t change the situation from yesterday that I described. Player looks offside, assistant flags, referee doesn’t whistle, defenders concede a corner from which the attackers score.
-
We should have had that three years ago.
-
There is a Common Travel Area between the Republic of Ireland and the UK. This applies only to people and not to goods. Johnson doesn’t know the difference. The longest international border in the world is between Canada and the USA at 8891km and has 119 crossing points. The Irish border is 499km and has effectively an infinite number of crossing points.

In yesterday’s game there was an incident of possible offside again Man Utd (around 37 minutes?) where their right winger looked offside but he flag wasn’t raised leading to us conceding a corner. We know that the assistants have been told to keep their flags down if they are not certain in the belief that if a goal follows imminently the VAR can correct it but what if Man Utd had scored from that corner? VAR would not have reviewed the possible offside because it was in a different phase of play.

“If he’d got close” This is the Premier League, not a Sunday morning pub team. If he’d got close to James then he would simply have slipped the ball to Mata. It was two on one and Cedric was left exposed by his colleagues. -
There is nothing “clean” about a no-deal Brexit. It would be the dirtiest, messiest, filthiest carnage that you could ever have the misfortune to endure. But that is what you voted for.

That free kick was awarded by the linesman. Dean wasn’t going to give anything until he flagged. There had been a hand in Young’s back a couple of seconds before but not enough to send him flying.
