Who would be? He can't be blamed for that.

Charlie Austin - Sold to West Brom - 4M
Whitey Grandad replied to Give it to Ron's topic in The Saints
Yeah, what's all the fuss about? Footballers are mercenaries and he scored a few goals for us. As mentioned above, thanks for the goal at Old Trafford and the winner against Arsenal. Time for everybody to move on. -
Call me an old cynic but I don't trust anybody in UK sales these days. I don't trust the post either. How do you know that you are going to receive it before the first home game? What about those who don't live near the ground and may be coming to the game from somewhere that's hundreds of miles away from their registered address? Yes, we get this bedwetting every year. For a purchase of well over a thousand pounds it's not good enough. These could have been printed last year and sent out within a few days of purchase.

I had my heart attack seven years ago and it certainly makes you evaluate your life more closely. I have shelves full of books that I have not read, DVDs that I have not seen and CDs that I haven't listened to. All those plans that I had for long-term projects were re-evaluated and where I was always doing something for the future I realised that the future that I was planning for was here and now.

I couldn't remember what I had done with them but luckily I found them this morning. The email confirmation that I received on the 8th May stated that "Season Tickets will be posted towards the end of July, to the address registered on each account." I don't understand why they need to leave it so late. I'm around for the next couple of weeks but there will be many people who may be away and not going home before going to the first home game. I'm sure they'll turn up but I don't trust anybody in Britain to do the job properly these days. It wouldn't surprise me to find that they'd sold my seat to someone else.

I’ve not received mine yet so I checked my purchase history and under ‘status’ it says ‘upload’. Does this mean that I am supposed to use the same tickets as last season? I noticed that they didn’t have any season dates printed on them.
-
Because that’s where I sit.

I agree. It can ruin the whole tempo of the game. In my view if the teams are back and ready to kick off then the game should restart. It should never have to be held up for VAR.
-
Does the loan window close at the same time as the transfer window? Other European leagues have different dates from us, I believe.
-
Isn't that deliberate in order to avoid copyright issues?
-
Me neither. Why is it necessary to leave it so late? I am waiting for two of them.

They can't let a non-member have the same benefits as a full member. If you want to see that as a punishment then you must have a strange sense of logic. Under WTO rules we have to be treated the same as every other MFN country. Whatever we get from the EU has to be available for everybody else. Unless it's a special bi-party special trade agreement which involves international treaties and takes several years to agree.

Wouldn’t that be a debt incurred by the owner and not the club?

I have just sat through it and there are some interesting points there but also a lot of extreme views and inaccuracies. Nobody stopped the UK from entering the EEA, that was entirely down to May/Nick Timothy and their red lines. Also, referring to something Barnier has allegedly said to some ‘friends’ is too far removed from reality as a heckler makes clear.

Chelsea and Leicester home games moved for TV

At least you were somewhere sub-tropical and warm. You ought to have tried staying awake if you were actually at the game. -
Watching Saints then.

The United Kingdom and the Death of Boris Johnson as we know it.

If we revoke then we don't actually leave and remain on the current terms. Politically we would have lost a lot of influence and respect. -
If you’re no good at what you do you’re obviously in the wrong job. I sell bespoke electronic systems and I don’t have any problems. And I sell into France and Germany. Perhaps they just don’t like you?

We shall soon find out. Throughout the country there are more remain voters than leavers. -

You're assuming that a majority of the electorate want to elect a Leave candidate. -
Membership of the Single Market is worth much more than our annual contributions, about twice as much, so when/if we leave we shall have even less revenue to splurge. The £39bn figure is now down to about £33bn as a result of our extensions and would be spread over many years. Soon it won't be worth leaving

The 'flip' was outlawed for free kicks because it wasn't a true kick, you basically lifted the ball up into the air with your toes. If IFAB have said it's OK then fair enough but I don't really see the point of it all. Why not just let the keeper pick up the ball?
