  1. So perhaps the conspiracy theorists are a conspiracy set up by the government themselves in order to divert attention from what they are really up too?
  2. We spent our honeymoon there in 1970. We flew in on a Viscount and out on a BAC111. When we took off they backed up to the perimeter fence to get as long a takeoff run as possible.
  3. 'Woodstock' has some great stuff too, but perhaps a bit of a cheat since it's just a rendering of one of the great open-air rock concerts.
  4. Bill Haley was my big sister, along with Elvis, Gene Vincent and all that lot. My music years were early 60s to early 70s. Think Beatles, Who, Kinks, Hendrix, Herman's Hermits, all the classics We went to the Beatles show 'Let It Be' at the Mayflower last week. A great evening and a wonderful sing-along and not just for the recently incontinent either, there were plenty of youngsters strutting their stuff in the aisles too. The week before we went to '20th Century Boy' at the same place. A reconstruction of the life and music of Marc Bolan and T-Rex. Again, great musicians and dancing in the aisles. Catch them if you can.
  5. Fuel, innit. It was the fire that destroyed them. The planes just left a plane-shaped hole in the skin of the building.
  6. Damascus was ****. Literally.
  7. All of them?
  8. Nope, never heard of any of them.
  9. I'm blubbergasted.
  10. It wasn't 'found', it was handed to a police officer. http://911blogger.com/news/2011-11-14/fbi-agent-dan-coleman-explains-how-passport-911-hijacker-satam-al-suqami-was-found http://www.911myths.com/html/passport_recovered.html For a real plane crashing into concrete:
  11. Ridiculous suggestion. Aircraft are very flimsy and any debris was ground up into little pieces when the buildings collapsed. Just to say 'I don't think it could have happened so it can't have' is not going to persuade anybody.
  12. Farago is at Fleming Park this evening getting in the way of the poor public trying to access their leisure facilities.
  13. I sympathise with your views. If nothing else perhaps this can be a cautionary tale for those who might go a bit too far.
  14. Ah, happy days! Hard to believe it was only three years ago.
  15. Ruptured spleen, perforated bowel...
  16. That's the wurst he could do.
  17. I'd accept that, as long as we could get Simeone from Atletico.
  18. ITV should not be allowed anywhere near football.
  19. I'm surprised no one has mentioned Saturday Night Fever.
  20. I haven't been to the a Royal Oak at Fritham for years. Do they still serve beer out of the casks? http://whatpub.com/pubs/HAS/00177/royal-oak-fritham
  21. I don't see how you can come to any conclusions on the basis of no information.
  22. This. The only discussions that need to take place are behind closed doors and involve the manager and perhaps the players. They certainly can't be expected to negotiate in public.
