  1. This article about Cortese was much better IMO! http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/football/football_league/article7070442.ece
  2. Do the club not have a DHL or TNT account? I'm sure they must do! Ring them back find out the courier account number then get the relevant courier to pick them up using that number.
  3. Don't know what Samuel's agenda is here. He has taken soundbites from the Radio Solent interview, which was made up of questions submitted by the fans and has twisted them in to some sort of attack on the Manager. Cortese's stewardship is different to what we are used to in this country and certainly different to most football CEOs. It's a 'well done, we are doing well but WE CAN DO BETTER!' type of attitude. One where resting on one's laurels is not an option. To me, that is a refreshing change and the only pocket lining going on here, is one of bonuses for achieving and bettering footballing targets (unlike certain other clubs).
  4. Just looked at the League Table. Didn't realise that Carlisle were as close to us (next position) in the table.
  5. Not a great performance but not a terrible one either. Thought Harding did ok on the right but it definitely affected the balance of the team. Morgan played well before having to go off. Missed Lallana's trickery and guile. Connolly looked rusty when he came on but the other strikers played well (obviously Lambert was the pick). Fonte MoM for me though, won everything and had a lot of covering to do for the rest of the makeshift back four. Three points, 3 more goals, move on!
  6. Bloody hope not. He'll drop it!
  7. Danny Bough has signed for Huddersfield, great signing IMO. Really like the look of the Giants this season under Nathan Brown and reckon they could go all the way.
  8. From AP's bit on the OS: The Londoner did, however make it clear that any players who drift during Tuesday towards Sunday's game risk their involvement at Wembley.
  9. We've got the financial muscle to repel just about any bid outside of the Premier League. I doubt any Prem club would be looking to take a chance on RL, so I think it's a fair assumption that he'll be here next season at least.

  11. Normal price for 1. Normal price + £5 for 2. So if there's 2 of you going, split the costs @ £14 each.
  12. Lol! Bloody cut and paste!!!
  13. James and Antonio are injured. AP has said he will play his strongest possible team because every game is a 'cup final'. That said, I don't think Lallana or Jaidi will be risked.
  14. Looks like AP is considering it. http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/5077536.Pards_may_need_new_full_back_for_the_final/

  16. Made a difference to me! I wasn't planning to come down for this one but for a fiver, it would be rude not to.
  17. Turned into a top, top test match off-spinner. Yet again, took a wicket in the first over of a new spell. How many times has he done that?
  18. Yes, said he heals like "Wolverine". Bit of a tall claim from a player who missed practically all last season injured.
  19. But didn't someone serve a suspension earlier in the season (Tottman?), by missing a game he wasn't eligible for anyway?
  20. Not 30,000 odd people all going in the same direction then though! Same with England games, people disburse using all the routes.
  21. He might want to know how you managed to blag your way into the cub scout section!
  22. What about the Girl Guides?
  23. Scott McDonald?
  24. Not exactly! Of Course Johnstone's Paint are just the sponsors of the Football League Trophy but the Johnstone's Decorating Centres are part of Johnstone's Paint PLC (subsidiaries of PPG Architectural Coatings).
