A video camera?

TBH, I thought his the way he embraced both Nicola and Markus was more telling.

When you are the owner of the mighty Saints, every day is your birthday, Christmas, Easter, Ramadan, Bar Mitzvah (name any ceremony), rolled into one.

Agree! Because the way the tickets were dished out, unless you were in the lower tier directly behind the goal, you were just as likely to have a child or "little old lady" behind you, as a 6'7" 20 year old. So if you want to stand, by all means do so but not if it affects other people's enjoyment.

Quite a few of us singing that going up the hill past the station leading to the Ibis.

Lol! I actually became more nervous at 4-0 up than I was at any point before because we did our 'sit back and let the oppo come onto us' thing, which when we had pretty well dominated up to that point, was completely unnecessary. Conceding one seemed inevitable and I could easily see us conceding a second (luckily we didn't)>

Saints 4-1 Carlisle - 2010 JPT Champions - Reaction

Had a great day and it's brilliant to see Saints at Wembley and win a competition that we entered and take the silverware home at the end. BUT it still didn't feel the same as winning a major competition (not that may of us can remember what that actually feels like). We actually travelled with a Carlisle fan and he was more upset with the way we (sort of) dismissed the competition, than he was with their defeat. It is where we are but I hope we don't have to enter it again. Certainly not after next season. -

First GW Trains from Reading to Paddington were full(ish) but not packed. Maybe the answer would have been to get on the North bound Virgin or Cross-Country trains and change there.
-
My experience was the exact opposite. No queue for the urinals, plenty of wash basins (although distinct lack of hand-dryers). A good 20 minute queue for food and drink at half-time, not only causing me to miss the start of the second half but also Papa's goal.

Nick said he went there last year with some Everton fans (Everton had put on a similar thing) and thought it would be great to do it if/when Saints got to Wembley. I presume that the hiring of the building/DJ etc. was pretty costly, especially for sole usage all day, hence the cover charge.
-
Probably bottled it in the end and stayed at home. You know it makes sense WS!
-
Only the bottom one for me. The first time I've missed us score a goal at Wembley though. due to the incompetent muppets serving in the food bars at half-time!

Got back to Reading station about 6.15, full of London Irish fans. One p!ssed up one came walking towards me pointing at my Saints shirt, at first I thought he was going to hit me then he started singing "Southampton 'til I Die!" at the top of his voice.
-
Perfect for the Northam then!

Went to an Irish bar by Wembley Central. Sacrificed a bit of atmosphere for being able to get served (was full but not packed). Guinness was a little disappointing for an Irish bar though.

For me Antonio on his 20th Birthday was MoM. Lambert, Harding, Fonte and Lallana were all excellent but Antonio shaded it making 3 and scoring the other.

A special mention for Antonio, who I thought was excellent throughout. -

I think the acoustics of that stadium are appalling. People were singing in pockets but only a block or so away, you couldn't hear what was being sung. The only downer of the day IMO. -
What Famous Faces will be there tomorrow?

Roger Black was on the pitch before the 2003 cup final. -
No but they'll smell it from the other end of the stadium.

So if you've got a midfield player that's not allowed to score (and presumably not allowed to assist in scoring or make a goal saving last ditch tackle or block, because they too could affect the score and outcome of the game), Why the fook do they want to play him?
-
No such thing. They've all got there own agendas. Even the Independent isn't independent. Don't but any of them, is my advice FWIW.
-
Thought they played well in the first half and Burrow's definitely scored that try. Alibert (or Halibut as we call him) is a complete ***t. Wigan ran away with it in the second, when Leeds' injuries caught up with them. The kiddie Tom Bush looked a good player though!

6! Better than I thought.
