Pretty sure it was only in Southern Hampshire. Doubt it warranted more than a few lines elsewhere.

Of course not but there's a hell of a lot more reasons to go to Wembley, than a normal League home game. I'm not going because I'm away for the weekend and going to a friends wedding reception. If that had been last weekend, I'd have said, sorry guys, you'll have to do it without me.

There was no way that I was going to pay £10 cover charge to get in anywhere and decided to take my chances in the pubs but I can understand people paying it, on the promises make by COYR/Saints Rock Wembley advertising. Those promises were not kept and people are entitled to their money back IMO. What I'm not sure here is who broke the promises? Was it the event organisers or the club owners? It seems to me that the club owners were selling tickets outside over and above the capacity of 2,000 that had already been pre-sold? If, as it has been suggested Silverspoons does have 'gangland' ownership, then COYR could well have been ripped off themselves.

Yes but if you work in retail and have to work weekends. Which fixture are you going to book holiday for? JPT final at Wembley or a normal L1 league game v Leyton Orient at SMS?

This guy I believe. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serigne_Saliou_Mback%C3%A9

You'd have thought he had won the World Cup with Senegal.
-
Did he say how many had been sold?

I was offered the speed awareness course but that cost about £90 so I paid the £60 and took the points.
-
It's also Easter and school holidays which means people will also be away on holiday/short-breaks/visiting relatives etc. I reckon 25K at most.
-
Yes, IIRC you just have to send that back to confirm (or not) you were the driver. The fixed notice will then be sent to you.
-
From a Police Web-site. What is the penalty for speeding? If you accept an offer of fixed penalty, you will pay £60 and receive a 3-point licence endorsement. If you go to court, you may receive a fine of up to £1,000 and 6 penalty points. If the speed was very excessive or you have too many points on your licence already you may be disqualified. I got £60 and 3 pts for 36 in a 30MPH, last year.

Yes, that's the guy. Looked a good player but it's a right-back we could do with more.

Just being reported Hreidarsson and Webber are out for at least 6 months.
-
Wasn't it reported that next season's play-off finals were going to be in Cardiff due to the Champions League final being at Wembley?

Great photos on the OS in 3 different galleries.

Don't worry! Stu will take a professional make-up artist, with a steady hand.
-
Compromised I reckon. Was told to wear a suit because it's Wembley but insisted that he is a 'tracksuit manager'. No you're right, a bit of a fashion faux pas!

This has appeared on the COYR website: SILVERSPOONS ANNOUNCEMENT Its now 24 hours after our victorious return from Wembley. Its certainly going to be a day out that the 44,000 Saints that made the trip to North London will remember for years to come. COYR tried our hardest to add to the occasion by acting as a portal for Silverspoons Club 2000 night club. The vast majority of the fans present seemed brimming with the "spirit" of the day, but, inevitably when so many fans congregate in such a confined area some are bound to have experienced less than their expectations. We are normal fans, not experienced event promoters, we genuinely tried our very best to lay on something special to add to the day. We take our new venture very seriously and will take on board any constructive comments anyone may wish to make. We will listen, learn and try to create a trustworthy relationship with our valued customers. If you wish to express a view on Silverspoons, or our range of tee shirts for that matter, then please contact us via the email contact form on this site and we give you our pledge to take onboard each and every communication, good or bad and get back to you with a personal reply within seven days. COYR are Saints fans too, we want to be around through thick and thin. We look forward to your comments. http://www.coyr.co.uk/

The only ones that may, are the ones that will be battling relegation and likely to be back in the Championship the season after, in any case.

People are so bl00dy precious on here. I hate the Mexican wave and never join in but why slag off anyone who wants to do it, whatever their motivation. I hate the 'We're the Northam/Itchen/Kingsland chants too and NEVER join in with them either but I wouldn't dream of telling anyone to STFU! People have paid there money and have the right (within ground regulations) to do, shout, sing whatever they like.

Not sure I agree with this. Both Walker and Hayward were massive supporters of the clubs they owned and major employers in the respective areas. I hope Markus's association with SFC has the longevity of the other two.

Seen the Hull 'highlights' looks like Lyne was out of his depth and Broughton, who was at Hull last season and played well, was much stronger on that wing.
-
Great win by St Helens at Huddersfield. On the short highlights they showed on Super League Show, it looked like Graham was on fire.
