I think there was a fact on a post on page 31 but I forget which one!
-
TBF I don't think there will be any difference in price, they just haven't got the time to carry out staggered pricing (IMO).
-
I don't think there is anything like that amount on the table now.
-
I have to agree. He was only guilty of following Risdale's crazy strategy. You can't argue that he didn't sign good players and that he didn't very nearly carry it off. Not sure he's the man for us though.

The best bid is whoever pays the funds to secure the club, get the FL League license signed, allow the staff and players to be paid and get a new manager installed before Fry starts winding up the club. Pinnacle/Swiss/MJ-Middle Eastern/Mystery 4th foreign backer? I don't really give a stuff (and I don't think any of us are in a position to) as long as somebody comes up with the cash to save the club, this week.
-
I still think there is/was something else, other than the 10 points holding up the deal. It may be that by playing hardball, the FL have now relaxed some other part of the contract (like the CVA rule, for example), therefore by accepting the 10 point penalty, the license will be issued without further sanction?
-
They didn't say that, They said that they were hoping to tie everything up today, Tuesday at the latest.
-
They haven't got a 32,000 seater stadium to try and fill!
-
Somebody said yesterday, that it was two individuals. I don't know whether that was fact, speculation, a guess or just made up. Just like anything else posted on here really!!
-
I still don't see why there is no membership. Extra income for very little outlay, allowing the holders first refusal (after ST holders) on tickets for big cup matches and certain away fixtures (especially as many grounds we will visit this year will have very limited capacity for away fans). And.... If we're being optimistic here, there is a possibility of Wembley, either by way of the play-offs or the JPT (or ultra-optimistically, both).

Well, I've been here all week and I still haven't got a f'ing clue what's going on!!!
-
Surely Fry would have carried out a fit and proper sock colour test before allowing the exclusivity to go ahead?

Echo story updated at 7pm this evening! http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/4462854.New_D_Day_for_Saints_take_over/

TBH JP was so useless, anyone worth their salt would have had to speak up.
-
We've had a lot of Bull during this take over. None of it has been coloured red though!!
-
Begbies Traynor were the Bournemouth Administrators but Fry wasn't involved, it was Gerald Krasner and Julie Palmer.
-
I think they're talking about FF's thread which named Pinnacle's alleged original backers.
-
Good post. IMO the first point is the major sticking point for any of the remaining bids and the second point unforetunately may have some merit too. The FL would never admit it though!
-
Unless a major backer has pulled out since?
-
Fry confirmed to Gary Cotterill (SSN) on 'takeover day' (ROFL) that everything, including funds, were in place ready to go and that the last minute hitch with the FL, which they were hopeful of ironing out later that day, was the only thing holding up the deal.

Why Fry could make the Swiss could walk away
krissyboy31 replied to Fitzhugh Fella's topic in The Saints
Not necessarily. Fry would have had a lower limit that he would, without the agreement of the creditors, not be prepared or able to go below. His job however, is to get the best possible deal for said creditors and he will have had a starting price much, much higher. The reported £14million agreed with Pinnacle would have been somewhere between these two prices but my guess, closer to the asking price than the lower limit. -
No but it says they are not from a football background and are therefore going to need people who know the club/area/English leagues around them.

Yep!! Except Sweden didn't manage a fourth.
