One thing as sure as death is that a football manager is going to fail (somewhere) and is going to be sacked (by someone). I am not saying that I don't rate Tisdale but £1 to a penny if he was named our manager, at some point in the future he will get the sack! Not saying it would be this season, next or the season after. However, history tells us that he will at some point.

A bit pedantic. DD never said which Bath team! I actually agree with DD on this occasion. Tisdale has potential to be a good manager at this level and above but this is not the time for potential. Too much experimenting, over the past god-knows how many years, has got us to where we are. We need somebody who has a proven track record, may be in this league, may be the CCC or even the Prem but somebody who knows what it's like to manage a club of our size and the pressures that brings.

I have to say I was pretty impressed. He's taller than I remember, strong in the tackle, physical and reasonable quick. How come we let him go for a dozen marbles and a packet of liquorish allsorts but kept a plethora of midfielders without most, if not all those atributes.
