Can't you just kill Patred44 instead?
-
I agree to a certain extent but he was no spring chicken when he was released and we're a further year down the line. What we need and have been lacking in recent seasons is speed and athleticism. JW would make our already slow midfield even slower.

IMO the pharmaceutical link is probably a red herring. If there is a Swiss group looking to take over, it is likely to be a financial institution or possibly something to do with the Swatch group (due to Omega's link to Southampton/Eastleigh).

In the lack of any sweepstake or poll running on this at the moment, I'm going for Monday being T/O day.

In that case, only Hoffman La Roche will do!!

The Unofficial Official Unofficial Saints kit ideas

We are due a new kit. Unfortunately not a home one. -
I don't know why they are interested in Saints but many football clubs in the Germanic world are owned by companies.

Very true WS but when have any football supporter had "more patience", let alone Saints fans? And the lack of news only fuels the rumour mill, as people (not necessarily mischief makers) try to fill the void. No news is generally good news but for many, no news means it must have gone pear-shaped.

http://www.footballfancast.com/blog/champ-corner/championship-gk-year-wolves-burnley-coventry-southampton-sta/13846 KD nominated Championship GK of the season. Currently only on 8%, see if we can get him top!!

A view from Burnley. http://www.burnley.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=157117

Yes, I couldn't work out whether they actually rate him or not. Many said it was more down to Perryman and others said he was a lucky manager. This could have been a bluff towards the Swansea fan? Mind you, I wouldn't mind a lucky manager for once!

Yes but scrapped that idea midway through last season. -
I think Claus's dip in form was due to Mike Svensson's injury. I have always thought that Claus was made to look a much better player that he actually was just by playing along side MS.

So can we blame you for our demise? You must have either stopped coaching from behind the goal or suddenly became a sh!t coach!

http://www.clubcall.com/southampton/star-happy-saints-910527.html Exactly the same story, completely different headline. This one isn't exactly accurate either. All the guy is saying is that all he's thinking about is returning to pre-season training on 22nd and until the takeover is completed and/or their is an actual bid on the table, there is nothing to discuss.

I think Norwich will bring more than they did last season, as long as it is a Saturday kick-off and I can't see Charlton only bringing the pathetic amount they did last season, again. Leeds will bring loads, as will Millwall and Brighton. Southend will probably bring a few on the memories of their last visit. The only others of note will be Swindon and Milton Keynes (possibly Carlisle). The rest will struggle to bring more than a couple of hundred.
-
Unless Brighton go up!
-
Sorry! Can you re calculate from Woolston?
-
Slightly different this year because there's Charlton, Norwich as well as Leeds and ourselves. If we are all up in the mix, we will all average 20,000 plus.
-
I do think Brighton will bring a bigger following to St Mary's though!
-
Would be but we'll only get a handful of tickets for Withdean. At least with Swindon we should get a proper away end.

The Echo said some of the squad are returning next week for pre-fitness checks prior to pre-season training starting on 22nd.
