  1. There is an aptly named message board on the Saints Web for your kind. So kindly fnck off the main board you fish fiddling muppet!!
  2. IMO, there are a lot of people culpable for where we are now (i.e. collapse of the Pinnacle group). Tony Lynam and his backers (whoever they were). MLT for allowing himself to be suckered by these people. Mark Fry for trying to sell the club "with a good chance of overturning the 'illegal' 10 point penalty" and Malwhinney for making the rules up as he goes along and then insisting they cannot be legally challenged.
  3. SSN reported it was possible due to financial irregularities (mentioning the non-payment of wages).
  4. Fry seems to be more upbeat than the rest of us. May be talks with the other "interested" parties are at a more advanced stage than any of us thought? Good that the wages have been paid, at least that gives us a little leeway. Trouble is, we still can't do anything about contracts etc. and the first PSF is on Saturday.
  5. League 2 on zero for me. L1 on -25 would be a wasted season, which would probably end up in relegation anyway. At least starting this season in L2 on zero, it gives us a chance of building a team for the future and some momentum within the fanbase. I reckon we'd have bigger average crowds if we're going well in L2 than fighting a near hopeless relegation fight in L1.
  6. I'd wait to see what is said before getting too excited.
  7. Super League RL for me.
  8. On Echo now!! http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/4466244.Jackson_consortium_pulls_out_of_Saints_race/
  9. Not forgetting the world-wide Saints' brand franchises!!
  10. The "Aviva Arena" will still be there.
  11. Err...Creditors Frank, creditors!!!
  12. I may well be bollix but they have apparently made up since MLT's playing days and now get on quite well.
  13. He was garbage last night.
  14. Just thinking out of the box (a bit like our strikers over the last few seasons), what if having to drop the points appeal and accept whatever sanctions the FL see fit to give to us, has changed the value the bidder is prepared to pay? There is now a shortfall between what the bidder will pay and what the creditors will accept. We sell DMG and AS for a combined £2.7m to cover this shortfall and the take-over can then go ahead? TBH I don't know what to think any more.
  15. 2 for me but have had a 4 or two in my time!!
  16. Trouble is, if we get rid of too many players, were going to have to bring a load in to replace them. That in turn will mean a few months bedding in and building them into a team (whoever the manager is). We are already at least 10 points adrift, so we don't have that luxury. We will need to hit the ground running, therefore will need to keep as much of the existing team together (as much as possible).
  17. I have to say I find it amusing how the vast majority of posters on here were saying get rid of the whole sodden lot of them because they are all sh!t/lightweight/lazy/uninterested or whatever and now, some are leaving, we begin to protest. Priceless!!
  18. That's how I see it. If the bid was about to collapse and MLT knew that, he would not have been interviewed this morning still claiming he would be the club's chairman "within hours".
  19. I'm beginning to think it will end up with the Salz rescue plan.
  20. What Ian Murray? He's the greatest editor in the history of editors!!!! Not!!!
  21. An undisclosed seven figure fee. So about £1M I'd imagine.
  22. That would be an ex P*mpey player, surely?
  23. May be Jeff Stelling's the real money man and in return for his investment, Matt had to appear on his show?
  24. As of midnight tomorrow, he is no longer a Saints player whether he signs elsewhere, or not.
  25. For a minute I thought I was on the Ryan Smith/Lee Molyneux thread and had to double-take on your post.
