No. Manyoo won the second half (in their blue shirts) 1-0.
-
No, you are correct. I stand by the Freudian slip theory, though!! "The Swiss Group" used here in yesterday's Sky interview! http://www.skysports.com/video/clips/0,23791,15855_4171150,00.html

He said Swiss Company/Consortium. I think the company bit was a Freudian slip and he quickly changed it to consortium.

I believe that our license was revoked when we went into administration but we can still carry on as members of the FL for 18 months whilst in Admin. Therefore although they will not reissue a full license until after any takeover has been complete, there must be some sort of temporary license system, which I'm sure Jones/Tointon are aware of.

Wolves barely had a starting XI a couple of years ago, when Mick McCarthy took over. Look at them now!!
-
Don't they just play friendlies under the umbrella of "a Southampton XI", or does that still count?
-
Good old Wacko!! At least he's persistant!!
-
I didn't!!

Obviously 2 of the best results we've ever had at the Dell (too young to remember the 9-3 Wolves game) but the best actual game I saw at the Dell was the 5-5 draw with Coventry. All out attack from both teams Keegan and Cassells both got 2 for us and Mark Hateley scored a hatrick for Cov and produced one of the best performances of any away player, I can remember.

Amendment to his current contract.
-
TBH I don't think anyone knows, not even the FL. Their rule book never envisaged this scenario and by declaring SLH and SFC were inextricably linked, in order to impose their 10 point penalty, they have made the whole thing a complete mess.

Nothing to do with Dippy Dineage, Andrew Pate was the reporter and he is a big Saints fan.
-
Longer than those of the server crashing again, when a proper press conference is called.
-
I was going to ask if this had happened, because there has been nothing all day on SSN, nothing on the local news, and nothing on the Saints and West Ham OS's.
-
I'm not going, now Wotte's the manager!!!! Only kidding, won't be in the area on Saturday nor Tuesday, so can't get to the Eastleigh or Totton games but will be at Cheltenham and St Mary's for Ajax. Good luck with it though!!

Headed by a "rich Swiss industrialist" apparently.
-
I wouldn't, or couldn't support any one else (apart from England). I would watch and cheer on anyone playing against P*rtsm*uth, Manyoo or whatever team Redkrapp is managing today, else I couldn't give a monkey's!!
-
Andrew Pate (Meridian) said a deal could be done tomorrow with the Swiss group.

Lol at new thread title. Reminds me of Not the Nine O'clock News. This old saga seems like a Mel Smith/Gryff Rhys Jones sketch!

Although TBF if you read the OS article, it doesn't particularly seem short term either (backroom staff appointments to be confirmed in due course, continue the work started in January, clearer situation on the footballing side of things and aiming to get the best possible results when the season starts in August).

Actually he turned one job down and I think there was a second interested party but chose to hang around until his contract ended (knowing that if/when Pinnacle took over he would have probably been out of job). At the end of the day, the club needs someone in charge of first team affairs and at the moment cannot employ anyone from outside, therefore giving it to Wotte being the man in situ, was an easy decision.

Is this the one? http://business.timesonline.co.uk/tol/business/specials/rich_list/article3822519.ece

Of course, but McGoldrick has gone, so someone is doing it.

Exactly. IMO a carefully worded statement from the FL meant to clarify their position that just clouds the issue even more. Typical politician spiel.
