They've just read out a press release on SSN. I does however mention "sporting sanctions," not the 10 point penalty and to me that reads as a plural.

From what we ascertained, other bidders, Pinnacle etc.. were prepared to pay much more than the Salz party were. It seams to me that Salz' valuation is somewhat more realistic than Pinnacle's. I suspect that the 2(?) bids on the table are now considerably less than Pinnacles, probably still more than Salz rescue package but at least Fry and the creditors are going to have to be more conservative on their valuation.

Total Network Solutions had to rename after the Welsh League outlawed commercial naming. They came up with another TNS The New Saints.

I'm not the greatest BWP fan but I think he does get some over the top and unfair criticism. I think he'd actually do a good job for us in L1 and I'm not really rejoicing that yet another player is about to leave that will need replacing, with someone who is probably half the player.

I think you'll find Cheltenham Town got relegated from League 1 to League 2. -

Nowhere on here does it mention city! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guildford -
And that's why Fry et al was sure that an appeal would rule in our favour and presumably why the FL was so keen to refuse us the right of appeal.
-
It's still my opinion that the original bid was legit but the real money man/men pulled out when they found out about this. That IMO is why they were so keen to appeal the 10 points, because without being able to fight that, they wouldn't be able to fight this ruling.

If the PLC was being rescued then it would have to have an agreed CVA but because the administrator is selling off individual assets, as long as they are paying the agreed amount there wouldn't be a CVA. Remember, it could be any number of buyers purchasing individual assets. It just so happens that all of the bids on the table so far have been looking to buy all of the assets.
-
Yes but the buyer is not buying SLH, he is buying the assets of SLH and SLH would cease to exist when they take over.

Neither of them are cities, both have Borough Councils. -

Isn't Palace technically in Croydon? -
Yes, ages ago triggering off Ken Bates links.

I think he probably means after completion.

Clubs do start seasons whilst in Administration, so there must be a temporary license scheme of some sort. A club only gets kicked out of the league if they've been in Admin for 18 months. That's not to say that we will not resign if we are unable to trade on.
-
We're all guessing here but the club is certainly not worth what Pinnacle had bid, if we are to have a 25 point deduction. The Swiss if they're serious will bid quite a bit less but that may not satisfy the creditors.
-
One could may be question his judgement here but never his motives. He is not only a legendary player but is also a fan of the club and Matt like the rest of us, wants to see a successful conclusion to this everlasting take-over saga.

It has wings though!!! Sorry, I'll get my coat!!!!

I know but we haven't got anything else to fall back on. PS Some Man City supporters I used to know always called United 'Salford'. -

Salford only misses out by about 100 meters but they do have a RL Superleague team. Whilst Gloucester has one of the best RU teams in the country. -
I suspect that there bid was based on b with a chance of a. Once they found out it could be substantially more than 10 and the FL license was only to be issued for 2 years, the initial backers walked. Lynam then tried to rescue the bid by getting Fialka on board but that was always going to go pear shaped.
