When he was with us he was the Ukrainian Shevchenko!

Nobody knows, most of the fans wouldn't remember what to do.

Only a rumour, but it would be nice...........

Does he know Help Me Rhonda? If not, this is obviously BS. -
+1. I haven't got mine yet!!

We need to win, I think we will win but it's not going to be straight forward. 2-1 from 0-1 down in the first 10 minutes.

I'm sure CB and his missus would love him to come back to St Marys but unforetunately, there is no way we could offer anything like the wages he is currently on and probably nowhere near what he was on when he left. If we were to loan him, it would mean that Fulham having to pay a large percentage of his wages but I get the feeling they want him off their books altogether and therefore looking to sell. That rules us out.

Lol. I must have been having brain failure (no change there!!). Changed now.

Would be good to get 20k+ but personally I reckon around 18k. Would be disappointed if it were less than that.

How would this side have faired in the prem?

Yes, would definately need more bite in MF. A Danny Guthrie type player? -

Would be good but doubt he'd come here for what we would be prepared to pay. -
Really bad luck for the lad, especially as it looked like he might have featured in the first-team over the next couple of months. We definately need to get a striker in on loan now!

Our fans chanting "Who are you" whenever we score.

Derry, you like me come from an era when Southampton supporters had many varied and some quite unique songs. The days of the Milton, Archers and West and East Stands at the Dell, when there was proper banter and proper terrace humour. The chavs of today have no humour and no originality. They can't even make up decent songs about our own players, just knick other fans tunes and call them Southampton songs. It too wriles me that they tempt fate by dissing the opponents fans and teams when only one or two goals up or anti skate songs that have abosultely no relevance to the game being played. However, I have long given up on the hope that we may one day return to proper supportes, who will get behind the team for 90 minutes with songs we can all be proud of. -
May be true for U18 league matches but not for the team that was put out last night. Gobern, McLaggon and Racine have all played or been involved with the first team and the remainder are regulars in the Ressies.

David McGoldrick - one of the top 50 rising stars?
krissyboy31 replied to SaintDonkey's topic in The Saints
But it was on the basis of how good he was percieved to be, that we loaned out all 3 of Rasiak, John and Saganowski and only got in younger even less experienced players (sh!t ones at that) to help him lead the attack. I look at Leicester and Matty Fryatt and how many goals he is knocking in. Now, I accept he is a year older than DMcG and is playing for a team full of confidence and against League 1 defences but he really does looks a player that could cut it at a higher level. I,m afraid I can't see it with DMcG but I hope he proves me wrong. -
I think it's time for the return of the white witch!!

David McGoldrick - one of the top 50 rising stars?
krissyboy31 replied to SaintDonkey's topic in The Saints
DMG does not get a hatful of chances per game because we don't make that many. that's why it's imperative that when we do, we put them away. If he is the player being picked week in, week out in the main striking role, then whatever his age, he is the one that has to put those chances away and if he doesn't then people are well within their right to be critical. -
And thrice NO!

Henderson's comments made interesting reading. "They were very clever in midfield and used the ball to good effect, moving it at a decent tempo throughout." In other words: Not f@nnying around making 20 passes, when 10 will do, making pretty patterns around the park aimlessly with no end product. Maybe our revolutionary coaching setup were taking note? Let's hope so!

Forest waited until after they beat us before sacking Calderwood.

David McGoldrick - one of the top 50 rising stars?
krissyboy31 replied to SaintDonkey's topic in The Saints
Nah, he's just not that good! He might make an adequate Championship player in a season or two but certainly won't be any more successful than that. -
Not unless we can start winning our home games and stringing a few results together. If we can win our next 2 at home and avoid defeat at Norwich, I may start believing. Until then, I'm just about hanging on to fence by my fingertips but dangling on the relegtation side.

Couldn't agree more. Kingsland North get right behind the team. It has suffered this year from the corner being shut, in the same way Itchen North has (and the fact that there are more empty seats ) but those still there, get behind the team as much as anyone.
