The United Kingdom and the Death of Boris Johnson as we know it.

Nah we don't want to sign him. I heard he's a bit emmental!
-
I hear he's a yarg off the pace. I'm sure the club have thought very caerphilly about this signing though.
-
And you don't think he could get any feta?
-
Isn't that what we effectively did with the WC break?
-
I disagree slightly. I'm not a big fan of Jones, but we've been largely competitive in recent games but have been hamstrung by not having a striker who actually knows how to kick a football and beat a keeper. It's just ludicrous that the recruitment team have allowed the present situation to unfold over the last season and a half and haven't yet addressed it in this window.

Southampton 0-1 Newcastle League Cup Semi Final 1st Leg

Precisely. I can't bear to watch Che doing a terrible impression of a PL striker ever again. When you don't create many chances, you need someone who can stick them away occasionally instead of completely fucking it up... every single time. -

The difference with that one was that it hit (well... grazed) his knee first. Not so just now. -

Annoying, but if the Joelinton one in the first half is disallowed then that has to be too. Can't really complain. -

Pah. You could have bet your house on Che not scoring there. -

What's the story there then? I only turned it on around the 35 min mark so must have missed it. -

Biased, annoying and incompetent. Couldn't see the blatant handball from Joelinton for the disallowed goal. -

If he had used his foot to get to that ball with Djenepo's head where it was, he'd have been sent off. But not even a FK. -
We're hoping he'll bring us back to life?

His overall performance today was pretty poor, but the thing that really stood out for me was just how crap he was for the first disallowed goal. There is no excuse for him being offside for starters. It's not like me mistimed his run, he was just stood in an offside position waiting for the ball in to him. Schoolboy stuff really. Then when it did come to him, I have no idea what exactly he was trying to do with it. There was no clear effort to strike the ball, more a general lurch of his whole body towards it in the hope that he made some sort of contact. Was like he had total brain freeze. Everything about the incident from his aspect was just utter turd.

Is McCarthy still injured? He's hideously limited as we well know, but he surely must be a better option than Bazunu right now. Gav might be good one day, but right now we simply don't have the luxury of being able to carry a young, inexperienced keeper while he develops. We need experience and leadership in that position to give us any hope of staying up. SR have right royally fucked up this really important bit of recruitment.
-
Orsic and Djenepo coming on.
-
I'm just getting flashbacks of Dean and Mason and that fucking atrocious non-penalty decision against Villa a couple of seasons ago. It's like we're playing against 13 men every time we face them.
-
Completely. As soon as he felt the contact you can see he just chose to fall over instead of even trying to stay on his feet. Pathetic decision.
-
Barely even tickled him FFS.
-
What has that done to the shape then?
-
Now that one I can agree with.
