  1. That's my understanding. He isn't cup tied as such, and would be available to play against Accrington if we beat Derby, but because he wasn't registered as part of our squad when the original tie was played he's not eligible for the replay.
  2. Alright, fair enough everyone. It just looked a little odd on the face of it, and I'm sure Alex himself would tell you he is disappointed to have let it in.
  3. Mostly to do with being lazy, unfit and only 5ft6.
  4. I played in goal at 5-a-side level for a number of years, and I don't recall ever diving to make a save without waiting to see which direction the ball was going, except when facing a penalty. I fully appreciate that the 'fault' for the goal lies with the defenders who left Ndidi unmarked, and as soon as the ball came to him you expected him to score. But McCarthy’s little sideways flop before he had even made contact was just odd. And it's not the first time recently his actions have been questionable either. Luckily it didn't cost us any points yesterday.
  5. I can't be bothered to click on every one of those links, but have they actually received any bids for any of those players?
  6. Yeah I thought that too. Ndidi basically miscontrolled the ball and Mccarthy just fell the other way. But you tend to get flamed on here if you criticise him. I make that 3 games in a row where he has conceded goals which, arguably, he should have done better with.
  7. Sims can't play because he has come back from loan since the first game, and I gather only players who were registered to play in that game are eligible for the replay.
  8. No, neither has Cabbage Face.
  9. Can't agree with that at all. He was involved in a lot of our decent attacking play before the sending off, and had two half decent chances early on, shooting just wide each time. Unfortunately he was the obvious choice to be hooked and replaced with Cedric after Valery lost his head, as we needed to keep a pacy forward (Redmond) on to give us an outlet when defending backs to the wall.
  10. Could really do with Chelsea smashing Newcastle this evening to stop them from overtaking us and hitting their GD.
  11. Not sure. Didn't we beat Everton with two own goals a few years back?
  12. Down to the bare bones, everybody concerned about that starting lineup, player sent off in the first half, and still we won. Have we finally found some resilience and mental strength at last? Can't complain. When it was 11v11 we were the much better team. We defended really well (except for the scrappy goal), and looked like we had a proper gameplan. Lots of positives to take from that.
  13. YESSSSSSSS! How did we win that?
  14. 4 mins. Might as well be 40.
  15. If anyone fancies it, Bet365 are currently offering 100/1 on Leicester.
  16. You had to didn't you
  17. Commentator: "I don't think they'll be selling many nail clippers in the Southampton area!"
  18. The 4 minutes of injury time away at Swansea last season for me.
  19. Apparently they haven't come back to win from being behind at HT since 2015. So that's another record that will undoubtedly get broken today.
  20. That's a decent shout. Long has worked his socks off today, and some fresh legs up front will give the Leicester back line something to think about.
  21. Never has been. I don't remember ever seeing him make a successful tackle. He is far too easy for opposing wingers to get past.
  22. And he grabbed Jan round the neck, which is surely violent conduct.
  23. In fairness, he didn't appeal for a penalty. Looked to me like he knew he just lost his footing and then got up and got on with it. I can't stand the bloke, but fair play to him in this instance.
  24. How did that actually go in? I'm still confused. He basically mis-controlled it and McCarthy just dived the wrong way
