  1. Oh, have you studied the inner workings of the Euro then? Degree in economics? If not, your opinions are just as uneducated and full of **** as mine, so don't pull out that card. Even big euro sceptics agree with me that the euro must not fail.
  2. I can't see Europe going to war with itself(the next war if any would be a Europe allied vs. someone else. Iran is the one to watch). The EU has kept peacetime well and improved relations massively.
  3. Post world war 2 there was no advanced eastern economy like today. We don't want the euro to fail, reform yes, but failure could tip us all over the edge.
  4. I think everyone needs to calm down! Lets wait till January and see where we are! We are still doing incredibly well and are first just in case anyone forgot! All in our own hands.
  5. First I heard of it. Really hope it isn't true, wouldn't wish Cancer on anyone.
  6. I don't think Euro failure will be short-term pain though. It could lead to a collapse of the whole system and terminal decline. I think you trivialise just how bad it could be.
  7. I hope you don't want a Euro collapse though. Even if you do want us out of the EU(fair enough view), a collapse of the Euro would only lead to cataclysmic consequences for us all.
  8. Personally, I think now is the time to get involved more. What is going on now will shape the continent for the next generation. We want to have a say in that, not just let it happen in front of our eyes while we bicker about referendums. But yes, if even big eurosceptics are starting to realise there are bigger priorities in the next few weeks and months, then **** is getting really serious!
  9. No point us leaving the EU though if we want to trade with the EU on the same rules as EU members. We'd have to follow most of the EU laws and would have no say in EU law creation. Though, in fairness to David Cameron and Nick Clegg here, they both promised a referendum if powers were given away to Europe, not just any old referendum. Because the treaty change would only be relevant to the 17 eurozone countries, no referendum technically needed under the new law created this parliament. It is a change in our relationship with the EU though if there is a move to fiscal union in the Eurozone. Expect to see challenges go right up to the Supreme Court over this. If no referendum is given, I bet some anti-EU group will give it a go.
  10. It's quite grim and depressing actually, but I guess it illustrates road safety points just by the sheer number( RIP in peace all those who have died from these tragic accidents ). Found the 12 year old boy who died in a crash at my school when I was there a few days back. That was a sad day, so upsetting to see people's reactions, even if I didn't personally know him, as I was a couple of years ahead. Just goes to show how fragile and precious life is.
  11. Cameron treads a careful line. His party let him take the party to the left and present it as all cuddly and what not, based on the idea it would get them into power. Well... he failed on that. Cameron isn't at all popular in his party in the grand scheme of things, especially his back bencher's.
  12. Just got an iPhone 4S 2 days ago. So far, brilliant.
  13. I always think one attacking in the centre, i.e Chaplow and then one defensive, I'd put Schiederlin in, but I doubt he'll start over Hammond and Hammond is pretty damn good anyways. But I think you need that for balance, not 2 attacking and not 2 defensive.
  14. That's true, but what other attacking central midfielders do we have? Cork is sort of inbetween, and Spiderman and Hammond are both defensive.
  15. Guly needs to sweep away the whole width of the field just behind the lead front man so he can feed it through. That is his best position.
  16. I don't understand how we can be so different in terms of quality away from home.
  17. Bit of a lost opportunity though as West Ham didn't win.
  18. Too defensive. We missed Chaplows ability to attack, and Lamberts holding play/ability to finish. Oh well, onwards we go. Next game is at home!
  19. Hmmm, all defensive midfielders. Maybe Cork a link up player... Chaplow adds the attack.
  20. Well... Burnley have won. So let this be a warning to us.
  21. Come on, if we can just scrape a draw...
  22. So how do you think that's gonna be made up? 3 wins, 6 draws and 17 losses?
  23. Last year for 13th place you needed 57 points... As things stand that would mean we need 15 more points in the remaining 26 games. Do you really think that will happen Dalek?
  24. Well no, it's just our away form. Our home form is good.
  25. Well, no... poor away form doesn't suddenly mean bad home form. Our home form and play(mostly) has remained consistent throughout the year however bad or good we have played away. Trust me, I'm a season ticket holder.
