We have had many low points as fans of this club recently but now we have sunk to yet another. I don't care how ****ed off fans are that we losing yet again....this is not JP fault, he is playing the players at his disposal the ones the board are dictating he has to choose from. JP is an honest bloke and puts his hands up when he has personally got it wrong.........who doesn't though???? I think we all know the answers!!

As we seem to be doing the ex Saints players thing i thought how about the managers. Now we have seen a lot come and go in recent times and i have thought about this long and hard....ok a nano second and my candidate for worst/ most hated manager is.................................................................Redcrapp!

What that man must have seen in his 108 years. Outstanding to have reached such an age. Bet he wondered why he and his fellow comrades fought in 2 World wars for when he looked around and saw the sorry state this Country has plummeted too.

I've read this thread with some amusement to say the least with all the differing views. Firstly i'll say that i have no religion and that i find the bible wholly unbelievable as the 4 gospels totally contradict one another. For my part the whole middle East conflict just goes to show what so called religious values drags man down to gutter level. There is a very strong argument that the so called "chosen land given by God to Jacobs descendants" is not that that is lived in now. (not that for one minute i believe this ever happened anyway) It amazes me that so many jump up and down and totally blame Israel for whats going on. The West has to be the most jumped up hypocritical arseholes in the entire world. Remind me what did the UK do when Argentina invaded the Falklands???? What did the Americans do when 9/11 happened???? Israel has a right to defend itself against a terrorist organization and that is precisely what they are doing and good luck to them.

Can tell you that Peter Storey came into Southampton on a private plane 2 days ago in the company of ex Spurs and Watford player Ramon Vega. Nothing todo with Saints i'm sure as Vega is into hotels nowadays and a football academy. As silly season has started again just thought i'd add my tuppence worth;)

And that in a nutshell sums up why i hardly ever bother posting on this site anymore. Posters that live in a dream world and are only content to find the bad in whatever comes out of ST MARYS. Of course he wants our players value to grow, as would any other chairman of a football club that does not have some rich benefactor. How in gods earth do you expect a club like Southampton to survive. Almost every club in the land outside maybe 6 clubs IS A SELLING CLUB.

Not seen this mentioned anywhere else yet. I heard on the radio this morning (WAVE) that we are about to make a loan signing of a 19 year old Everton defender that has played at International level for Englands under 19's. He is said to want first team football and we are lined up to sign him. Really sorry i didn't catch his name but i'm sure someone will have heard apart from me.

The general apathy with Saints is a spreading disease which so far appears incurable. I used to post on here regularly but now hardly ever because i just dont care anymore. Saturdays come and i look forward to playing my own football and hardly bat an eyelid about the Saints score. My wife thinks i've been replaced by an alien, i used to swear and get really angry over results like Saturdays but now it's a case of "oh well" I'll always support Saints but the passion has gone

Ok, if there is even the slightest truth in this rumour and Fallon his face and his cronies have eventually put something together with Arab money....am i the only one worried. This has been the longest takeover saga i can recall with more rumours on here than on a school playground! I have no faith in Merrington whatsoever, Fallonhisface may be a loyal fan but again he has done nothing to install any faith in me....and SHEARER...for pity's sake!!

Roy Keane has been bankrolled and unless there is someone with some serious money to throw about then SHEARER OR ANYBODY ELSE will not have a pot to **** in. A takeover just to replace the current board helps no one.

Frank's cousin I think though whatever the rights and wrongs of the current strategy, we should see it through... further wholescale changes do little for any form of consistency. What we need to be careful of is simple - A change of ownership and nothing more is currently of no advantage to SFC - only to those who despise the current regime. Its also unlikely to happen as Wilde has stated he is unlikely or will not sell simply to change ownership, but only where there is demonstratable cash for long term security - which is fair enough in MHO Completely agree, a change of ownership by itself will be of no benefit. The new regime need to be given a good run at getting things right and what i have seen from the first few games fills me with promise....if only some people will have some patience and not be susceptible to knee jerk reactions!!

LOL, old ammunition and unexploded bombs are regularly dredged up opposite the stadium....cant ever remember any actually going off though
