  1. I just hope we can make tomorrow a celebration of Markus life by being 110% behind the team and management and shout madly for the whole 90 minutes plus WIFM
  2. To be honest mate i think you have said it all. The story of the watch was indeed a very sad one and it certainly meant that a great many of us maybe just got to appreciate what a kind man Markus was. If this story inspires peeps to get closer to their loved ones or repair broken bridges then his legacy will be greater than having saved our football club....alas for me i left it to late to say sorry to my father but it has made me dammed sure i wont make that mistake with those i hold close to me. R.I.P Markus
  3. can not be at the church today because of work but my thoughts go out to Markus and his family. You will never be forgotten for the impact you had in so little a time at our club, god bless Markus, rest in peace.
  4. source Hamster.....or just guess work??
  5. It's not too late at all mate, the book of condolences is open to sign there all week and the memorials everyone has been leaving will go untouched until at least after the Orient game.TBH the way we fans have all come together to show how much we appreciate everything Markus did for our club has restored my faith in my fellow Saints supporters.Saturday is going to be a deeply moving occasion and a chance for everyone to show just how much Markus meant to Saints fans for saving the club from oblivion.WIFM,
  6. Name the new training/youth centre after Liebherr? Thank-you ML.
  7. About to watch England game and all i can think about is watching Markus at Wembley in the JPT Final and seeing what it meant to him seeing his Saints triumph. I only hope that ALL Saints fans will now unite and get behind the club and stop this petty bickering that has gone on during pre-season. R.I.P Markus and thankyou from the bottom of my heart for saving my club from oblivion. UNITE TOGETHER SAINTS FANS AND SHOW THE WORLD WHAT IT IS TO BE SAINTS THROUGH AND THROUGH!!!

  9. Gauthier Mahoto and his agent are in Southampton today. He is 18/19 yes old, plays in midfield, was on Pompeys books until about Feb this year. Don't know why he's here but his agent said he was visiting Pompey, Southampton and Birmingham!
  10. Bloody hell it's contagious, I agree with you Alps!
  11. The most sensible post of the day so far!!
  12. Barnard 1-1 excellent finish!
  13. It's been a fairly even game so with Reading just taking the lead. Bright start by Saints looking to break forward as much as possible. Very worrying to be minus 4 such influential players though!
  14. Was going to go to this, will be the first time i've missed the last friendley off the season for many years but am now seriously considering not going.....tickets are good value if we were going to see a competitive game where it was not just all about obtaining fitness....i would have hoped we were already there or there abouts by now. I am for the first time starting to get slightly anxious about the start to the new season!
  15. Lol at this thread
  16. You can't win SaintRichmond, he and a minority and lets be clear on this IT IS A MINORITY can do nothing but moan moan moan.
  17. It will upset a MINORITY, but your not far wrong!
  18. Have no issues with his running of the club. Some might not like his style but hey ho, i doubt he signed up for a Mr popularity contest when he took on the job!
  19. Where are all those impatient doom mongers then that have to whine and moan because we are being left behind and doing no business!!!....NC and AP showing how business should be done! Excellent capture.
  20. I agree with you here, an explanation before the league season kicks off would be acceptable, anything else and i have to agree with you smacks off the club having little regard or respect for what went before. However i will state i am prepared at present to give the club the benifit of the doubt and that there is a good reason for the lack of the TB trophy SO FAR!!
  21. longer than some drama queens on here!!
  22. Ok i have just spoken to the ticket office about this and they say the only home pre-season game will be against Reading and this is NOT named the Ted Bates Trophy and the lady i spoke to has no idea why this is the case. Now i am not about to jumpup and down furiously spouting off as we have no answers at present as to why the TB game has been ditched. I am prepared to wait and see if there is an explanation and a reasonable one at that before accussing NC of being the devil incarnate!!
  23. I agree with the point you make and if it was something like that then yes it would be OTT. However if it is something more serious i.e. a significant signing or something affecting the aqausition of land close to St. Marys then this should be confidential until all the T's are crossed and all the I's dotted.....loose tongues are the downfall of many a major deal once another interested party gets to find out!!
  24. And to be fair thats the way it should be in any organisation. Loyalty is paramount to success and i dont care if its in football or any other business, employees should except that if they leak confidential information before their bosses want it told then they should expect to pay the consequences.
  25. well we all know who is the biggest attention seeking queen on here!!!
