Lee Holmes isn;t the best but to say no engine is just the worst criticsm yet. He runs his nuts off and gives 110% every game he plays. He is not the quickest and still has a turn a place and will be more than capable as a back or part of squad rotation. Give the guy a break he will come good.

same gerenal theme. concentration poor as is his positioning. Great pace would like ot have seen more lung busitng runs down the wing. That said, should do a decent enough job.

Obviously there has been a lot of threads on here recently with fans venting concerns over Cortese, players lack of Pardew comment etc. For a change of tone, how about a sticky with ideas for next season of new songs, chants, music suggesstions things to generally improve match day experience. Personally would love to see a few more player songs esp. get the Viva Lallana song going. Rapid Vienna also have quite a unique tradtion. Every game, no matter waht the score, winning losing drawing, for the last 15mins they sing non-stop without fail to do everyhting they can to help the team, again something we could employ ourselves. Finally, in the saints 125 years history in pics, a flag with the old St Mary's badge would be great for 125th year or even Hampshire Crest. COYR

its actually very similar to the way the liverpool owners are trying to do things. Its about revenue maximisation but trying to get as many fans in as possible, especially in the seats that are generally in more demand, whilst ignoring current customers, its all about trying to extent fanbase, adn not the best way round it. I can accept the three pount charge as we have to cover our costs of the new football development centre and increased wages for better players. The installment plan I understand, but very frustrated becasue season ticket holders from last season, including myself can longer renew.

they could of least told us that there would be no installment plan, how many people would rely on that? Now everyone has to find all this money in a short-space of time? Common sense surely?

i can expect the prices to a degree, thats the price of having the better players. But no installment plan bascially means I can;t get one now. Travelling from Cardiff every week is not ideal but with a holiday cmoing up all seems a bit unlilkely now.

the question of quality is obviously silly. Obvioulsy Saints will look more like a team beacuse they are a club side, train everyweek together and have played around 50 games together and probably at least 20 with the new signings. England train very few times a year together and after qualifying and the season has finished have around three weeks to try and get a team together, that is the challenge but really its quite simple why saints look more like a team. If you look at the other leagues they do more to support their national team by finishing the domestic season earlier, but we have also brought our season-end in earlier too.

has anyone or does anyone know what sort of injections you need before going out, and how long you have to have them before leaving?

we should also not be too quick to criticse this young player, his sale enabled the club to trade for a little longer to keep us going long enough for a takeover to happen, when he he left, it was best for both parties.

he is a good player no doubt, but you don't just buy good players for the sake of it. Where would he fit in our team? he doesn't really, although he is very good cover for morgan but to suggest he could replace Hammond is laughable. That is not a reflection of his ability, nor do I think Hammond has great abiltiy, rather their role in the team. Then again we have released 13 players, all depends on AP at the end of the day

Shame to see a few of the players leave but inparticular Perry. Since he joined he has been fantastic for us. He was always steady on the pitch if a little past it. But in his interviews his attitude was always superb saying he wanted to prove himslef to be the best defender at the club. Lets hope the likes of Aaron Martin learnt something from him.

Good that this statement has come out. Obviously we had the thread about club transparenty, somethings all you need is the occasional and informative statement to keep the fans in the loop. He can't answer every question.

agree to an extent, really a lot of it should be resolved today, who is at the club could well affect the marketing drive. Want to see Pardew stay, think the players would be gutted to see him leave personally. Hopefully all the rumours will be put to bed today and they will finally release the kits for next season too.
