  1. Surely a fairer test would be this fixture in the premier league? Cortese clearly has ambition and I would hazard a guess he doesn't feel we need 44,000 for a championship future.
  2. And where exactly did you get that figure from?
  3. Should we? Or is the expansion just the added possibility of being able to shift more tickets for games that will sell out. Nobody knows the potential cost, but if it is relatively low then having extra seats for the say 5 times we sell out in a season (below the Prem) could be cost-effective.
  4. Probably true, but it didn't sound like a long-term problem. Hopeful for pompey
  5. I guess it's the same principle as doing it over the phone. I imagine you'll need the first line of their address and postcode though.
  6. HCDAJFU I reckon. Good scoring record and I can't see any other prem team giving him the regular football he wants.
  7. He used one hand above his head and stayed on his feet. Was never going past him
  8. TICKETS Adults - £15 Concessions (Over 60's and 16-18 year olds) - £10 Juniors (Under 16's) - £5 From the Coventry website
  9. Nice try
  10. For goodness sake, it's not difficult to organise tickets so applicants are on the same coach down. Or apparently it is. People had better sit where they want in the ground
  11. They'll be shifted within two days. 2,000 tickets, new ground and most people will be off work.
  12. I expect the ticket office will wait until half an hour before kick-off to announce there will be a ballot for this one.
  13. It surprises me people still take notice of the crap written in the Echo.
  14. That's pretty shocking. Do you have a link?
  15. What I don't understand is why the club wouldn't lower the boundaries for getting tickets if this is the case? It's not as though the skates ar e desperate for more home tickets, they still haven't sold out. Ticket office has become a joke since the departure of David Luker.
  16. Adkins was talking about being 10th by January as that was the original aim at the start of the season. We were to be in or around 10th and push onwards from January. I think it's bordering on mathematically impossible for us to be 10th come January.
  17. He said on Twitter that it would be weeks not months. Which sound as though he'll likely be back for boxing day rather than before Christmas.
  18. Based on what he said on Twitter last night.
  19. I have been one of Puncheon's biggest critics in the passed, making comments regarding his attitude that I still stand by. However, he clearly wants to be playing more football and making two sub appearance for QPR is not going to see Cortese's valuation of him met anytime soon. We have Lallana filling the flair role on one wing, with Chaplow putting in hard-working and creative performances when pushed out wide. Puncheon can fill that gap of flair on the opposing wing, which SDR has yet to show from the start of a game. De Ridder has said he doesn't have a preference over being a winger/striker but we haven't really had the chance to see him in the latter yet (Barely got the ball yesterday). Personally I think the issues from Puncheon stemmed out of the competition with Chamberlain. We were in a period of managerial turmoil when the Rochdale game came about. A time which Puncheon described as his worst day in football (He was rubbish, people boo'd). Puncheon is having a hard time of it and hasn't scored since April, Chambo comes in and scores 4 in 4. Not many people like to see somebody far younger than them and on about a tenth of their wage doing twice the job. Things obviously came to a head when Puncheon refused to travel to Tranmere and that was about the last we saw of him in a Saints shirt. He can clearly cut it at the top end of the Championship and if he can iron out the passed with the management then he could do a very good job for us.
  20. Hmm.
  21. The FA Cup is about playing teams above or below you who you otherwise wouldn't have the chance to play. We play Coventry twice already this season and were at the Ricoh less than a month again. People will still get behind the team but this draw is nothing but dull.
  22. Just seen this. Dull draw but it might be interesting to see more away fans (and not many at that) in a 33,000 capacity ground.
  23. Spurs away pleeeeeease.
  24. £200 and a 3 year ban?! Unbelievable.
  25. Ask their ticket office, if it's not their they'll point you in the right direction.
