As SKD says above, by ‘already proven’ I mean someone that at least can come in and make an impact instantly, rather than someone that takes 3/4 months to bed in. I personally wouldn’t want to be relying on Adams to get us goals from the start of next season.

Majority of the money we’d get for Ings would surely have to go on his replacement? He’s the one player we arguably have to get someone already proven to replace, and I’d think that Ralph would push for that too given he’s scored most of our goals during his reign.
