  1. he said there would certainly be one to replace mellis, maybe a hint that another is possible since we have all these extra matches..
  2. totally agree, still think we will see Garvan/Stock and Lisbie/Jackson to really set us up for a strong finish
  3. Just been released from his contract at Forest...worth a punt?
  4. Stock and a striker too hopefully, Pardew must realise that if Lambert gets injured we will really struggle
  5. is there? there's wood but not ward
  6. Got to be a done deal.. the sky sports understands parts means sources have told the the deal is done and its just a way of covering their backs. the inclusion of the length of contract is also important here i would suggest
  7. Pericard move getting closer? http://twitter.com/solentsport
  8. I'd like to throw in the away wins at Preston and Reading last year, a great acheivement with our 'team'
  9. You make a good point for yesterday's performance but what I really find annoying is that if he plays against Exeter on boxing day, he should be starting on a new leaf however people are just waiting for him to make a mistake so they can criticise him
  10. No actually I didn't, but i'm a season ticket holder, and i've been to a few away games, and yes he may have a had a bad game in central midfield yesterday but can you give me any examples from other games in central midfield where he has played poorly..? You can't judge a player on one game in a position, if we did we'd be saying Scholes is carp after yesterday He's 21, and will improve and prove a lot of people on here wrong
  11. Same old saints fans, defeat and automatically there has to be a scapegoat. I think if these people cast their minds back they'd realise James is a valuable member of the team and has come up with a number of quality assists this season including that superb pass to Connolly at Walsall as well as many other free kicks and corners Just because he has one bad game is his 'preferred' position he is slated, you only have to look at Scholes' uncharacteristic poor performance for Man U yesterday..does that make him a bad player? The slaters need to accept we're not the finished article yet and it will take more time and I hope James continues to prove a lot of people on here wrong
  12. Racon please and also possibly Shelvey from Charlton, he may have gone off the radar of some of the top teams as his form hasnt been brilliant, going to be a class player though How about Pilkington from Huddersfield or Williams from Bristol Rovers, two class acts from the games i've seen them this season Also Simeon Jackson, just think he would be awesome with Lambert especially when Connolly cant play every game And finally some Championship players, Billy Sharp? Elliott Ward?
  13. What about Moritz Volz? Still unattached, not sure why, always thought he was a decent player and can certainly do a job in this league and the championship when we get there
  14. Where's Waigo?
  15. As much as i would like a cheeky loan bid for Merida or another youngster from Arsenal, I think past 'clashes' between Wenger and Pardew means it would be a no-go area
  16. Sign Antonio permanently, i think Trotman will go back, Waigo's here for the season anyway Sign Ward from Coventry, A decent defensive midfielder (Abdou or Diop style player from abroad) A good striker eg Sears if we can tempt west ham with an offer or Jackson Any money left over buy a couple of good squad players Get rid of the deadwood..
  17. He's been injured according to their os, should be back fit around now
  18. ..until we step in, if he refused a new contract at millwall i don't really see huddersfield as a step up, whereas we would be, far more potential
  19. Sears is on a season long loan at palace unfortunately according to their website
  20. This was from last season by the way so they were pretty much spot on, not sure what their prediction for this season was for us
  21. or they're favourites to sign elliott ward from coventry before the 5pm deadline tonight on loan with a view to a permanent deal which could open the door for trotman to join us in january?
  22. i think the thing to remember is that its mid-november not mid-march or april, these teams will have bad patches how many times around the march/april time do you see the teams in and around the play-offs start to falter as the nerves kick in and other teams lower down the table take advantage tbh as i see it now we'll make a late dash for the play-offs from mid table and that will suit us perfectly
  23. matthew robinson?
  24. hammonds playing particularly poorly so far i think
  25. http://www.iraqgoals.net/ch3.html working now
