Chelsea have just slashed another £50M + on Neto and are about to go again on Omorodion. I think there may be some decent opportunities for us there especially in the loan market. It also makes a complete mockery of FFP and illustrates why football is so broken.

I’m pretty ambivalent about AL returning but there’s two issues here that are worth remembering. Firstly he’ll bring some significant experience both on and off the pitch. Secondly and there’s no doubt about this, he will be on a much reduced salary. If the latter isn’t the case, which I doubt, then for me I wouldn’t consider bringing him back.

On Che going to Forest……..clearly Matt hasn’t seen him play for a while!!! Anyway come what may, I wish Che all the best and there’s no doubt he added to our success last season. His old teammate – Matt Baker – even compared Adams to the Brazilian Ronaldo, telling the Guardian: “He reminds me a little bit of the old Ronaldo. He had that raw ability.
