I had the same problem for West Brom away last season, phoned the ticket office and they said I could pick the tickets up at the Hawthorns, had the same thing on my email as well. When I got to the Hawthorns, went to the ticket office picked up tickets for me and my son in an envelope with my name on, no problem. No, I just wouldn't put him in the 'absolutely pathetic' bracket. He's not the best, I've noted his weaknesses, I don't deny that he has mistakes in him. But unlike some on here I'm not really one to vilify players for being crap. I wouldn't say it's backfired, it just needs to be better organised next time. Clearly lots of people had a negative experience which is unacceptable especially where children are involved. Agree with this. Playing games away initially while waiting for work to be completed could actually give that team an unfair advantage at the business end of the season, and be detrimental to other teams at the same time.
