  1. To many cock ups to list really, at the end of the day it comes down to: Poor off field/ managerial decisions Poor on field recruitment Lack of decisiveness by the board when it all started to go Pete Tong I still remember sitting watching the Augsburg match and thinking even then that we looked pretty awful. Here we are at the ass end of the season and we just never really improved that much. Awful season full of cock ups that could've been avoided with better foresight and more decisive action when it was needed. Blown it now though, hey ho. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  2. I think that this has pretty much been proven to be untrue elsewhere on here. I can't be assed to go looking for the facts and figures but I think you'll find he's had more good than bad seasons. Not saying that I want to keep him, but I wouldn't be entirely against the idea. I think a lot of the forthcoming seasons are going to be more about the board and players that we retain / buy than the manager to be quite honest. Many people said that any half decent manager could've got us promoted last time around because of the backing and investment we had from the board, and that it was little to do with Nigel Adkins. Whether that is true or not, I don't know, but if it is, with solid backing we should be able to get back up quite quickly. Question then, is not about the manager so much, but more about whether the new owner is going to fund it.
  3. I think that most sides know that we've had the stuffing knocked or of us now and have a pretty soft underbelly. An early goal against us is likely to mean a capitulation. On the flip side, what's the chances of our defence keeping it tight and us nicking it at the death, highly unlikely. We are fast becoming whipping boys, and if we start bad in this one I can see Vardy having a field day. Most likely, another plucky defeat. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  4. Exactly, Coventry City. I agree with CB on this one but I just can't be assed to argue the point. As far as I'm concerned the Liebherr's found us in league one and left us in the championship. When you've been watching Saints for as long as I have you know that sh it happens. Relegation is gutting, but it ain't the end of the world, come next season we'll kick off in the championship and ill be there with the boy shouting our heads off. It's just a different ride at the end of the day. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  5. You too...! Damn, I'm beginning to feel less unique by the minute - I thought it was only me that he was stalking with IM's. Got yet another one from him today simply saying 'Triggered' (what is that, anybody...? I'm nearly 60 and not really down with the kids, so I'm not sure if I'm meant to feel intimidated by him now). Anyway, I've replied 'nicely' telling him that I still don't respect him.
  6. We may have to next season.....? Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  7. No, as I told him in the reply to his stupid 'respect me' message, he has labelled himself, not anyone on this forum. He is a dickhead of a troll. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  8. Excellent, take the forum troll with you. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  9. Go and protest then you dickhead, stop calling out the fans that support the club and calling them gutless. You're too gutless to leave your keyboard and actually go to a game. You are the gutless fan, not them. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  10. Our fans are not gutless you dickhead. Why not try visiting a game at some point as opposed to continually slagging everybody else from behind your keyboard. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  11. The result alone is probably not unexpected or surprising. But the manner in which we lost that will be a hammer blow to the players confidence from here on in. Can't see us performing any sort of great escape from this position, we're down. Not looking forward to next week quite as much now either, could be a case of serious Wembley woes. 12. That's pretty much what I told the **** as well. Can't believe dickheads actually think they can get respect by demanding it, what a knob. He replied to my message saying, just respect me and we'll have no problems...! I was quaking, haven't slept for days. What a divit. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  13. Oh have you had that message as well...? I thought I was the only one who got it. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  14. Ain't he just. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  15. And for that very reason alone this year's semi's at least should have been played elsewhere at neutral grounds. Spurs undoubtedly have the edge having played there throughout the season. There are plenty of viable alternatives to Wembley which most fans would have probably enjoyed as much. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  16. Ambitious, can't see us being anywhere near those.
  17. Run faster and you'll be able to make the game as well...!
  18. Where did you get that figure from? If true, that's pretty dire to be honest.
  19. Exactly. Unfortunately it's just a simple case of market forces, new club comes in and offers lots more money and the player will go. We cannot compete in the same market - deal with it and move on. But it doesn't stop a lot of people splitting their spleens, and vilifying anybody and everybody. I've really enjoyed reading the latest on this thread. Can't believe so many people spitting blood because we haven't phone Matt up to ask him how he's getting on, criminal. Although you could of course just check out the local reports and see quite easily that he is doing pretty well and probably doesn't need a lot of intervention or help right now.
  20. I have no problems with the categorization of selling tickets. But I think that a couple of the categories could be merged and the windows could be made smaller. After that, get it on general and try and get as many up there as possible.
  21. You lost Trousers....?
  22. So real fans wait days to qualify to buy tickets, support the club and end up with the dregs. Meanwhile the club can't give premium tickets away to erstwhile 'supporters' / queue jumpers. Excellent PR / customer skills.
  23. You're right - it bloody has...!! How the fv ck have all of these tickets suddenly become available when they've been saying for days that they were sold out. I was probably buying my tickets (cheapies in the upper echelons) this morning at about 09:15 ish and your post is 09:28, so fv ck knows what is going on. Bollux to it...
  24. You are of course correct, I fear many people will not realise what we've got until it's gone. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  25. Had VAR been used it is highly likely that City would have gone through, first leg, Liverpool offside goal given, City onside goal ruled out and should've had a penalty. Can totally understand why Pep is miffed, but perhaps Liverpool's name is on the cup. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
