  1. You can't of, I won it just a minute ago. I was the 1,000,000,000 visitor to the site - no shyte....!!!!
  2. Ate, you is fick.
  3. Thanks - nice to have some company, but so thick was I, that when I took the test again (same questions), I still managed to get 3 wrong...!!!
  4. You're probably correct in that he is too good for league one, he's also relatively safe and reliable in this league - but international football - I think not. I'm actually a great fan of Kelvins - many would have gone and sat on West Hams bench (arguably for a lot more money than we were paying), but he chose to stay, gamble and play. I hope he is royally rewarded for that commitment with games in the Premier League, but even then I think that if we got there - we might assess certain positions - one of which would be his. Love his loyalty and passion for the game and the club - but that 'aint gonna get him into the international setup.
  5. You don't post on here very often do you? About as frequently as you get out per chance?
  6. Great thread - I just wish you had waited until we had played the skates - then we could all have included both Notarf Kraps, now that they have had new toilets and a clock installed...!!!
  7. What is twoie...?
  8. Ahhhh I amassed a massive 9 points out of 24 - about the lowest on here. Does that now mean that I have to move out of the United Kingdom?
  9. Is the jury out, http://www.forestforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=28811 or do the forest fans just think that he is shyte?
  10. Saved me the bother... +1.
  11. Don't do apple - but acknowledge the technical achievements and creative solutions that this man helped to make mainstream. RIP.
  12. Feel for Chris Hughton - did a spectacular job with Newcastle and was uncerimoniously dumped, and then walks unsuspectedly into this mess. He doesn't have a lot of luck does he.
  13. The really sad thing about all of this is that with the technology / software available today all of these 'scams' could be avoided by the telcos. Scams such as recieving anoying text messages offering 'scam' services, but giving you the choice to 'opt out' by phoning or sending a text to a premium rate number that costs an absolute fortune - it is nothing but legalised robbery. Roaming data charges, nothing short of taking advantage of inexperienced / unsuspecting newbys running smartphones. Can the telcos track these scam messages, can they see normal usage bills (30 - 50 quid) suddenly rack into the thousands - of course they can. It's not rocket science in todays world of technology. I used to work for a company that tracked credit card transactions on a certain make of swipe machine. Every single transaction was traced and logged in real time. Special software is used to check all transactions to ensure the card is not stolen or has not been cloned, or that there is anything irregular about where or when the transaction is made. If that sort of security can be afforded cc's, then I'm pretty certain that it's quite easy to implement such mechanisms on cell phone systems. Perhaps though - the providers might loose money that way though. Stuff your consumer rights.
  14. I thought that Stuart Pearce was being 'groomed' to become the next man. However, I wonder if 'arry's 'old school' approach is now not flavour of the day with the FA, I think they may be looking for a more intellegent, forward thinking, progressively sports scientific orientated candidate. Now I wonder where you could find such a man?
  15. Discipline is an important part of the game today - picking up stupid yellow cards only puts you under pressure. Hopefully it is driven into the players that losing your cool during a game is only likely to lead to losing the game itself. Mind you, I guess it's easier to keep your cool when you are flying high and results are good - as opposed to staring at the abyss of the relegation zone.
  16. I believe that it is intended to name it the Cortese Colosseum - he's intending on bring a large bit of Italy to Southampton....!
  17. I tend to agree. She may not have been to one to push the knife - but I believe that she know's an awful lot more than she is telling. The real tragedy is that this case totally surrounds this woman who is now set to benefit richly from somebody elses tragic death. But of course we have all forgotten about the victim.
  18. Similar problems Orange and other providers were highlighted last week on the BBC Watchdog program. It appears that many people with smartphones these days have no idea that they have applications which automatically update periodically throughout the course of the day. As Steve said - if you have been on holiday lately and just allowed your phone to data roam, that is how the charges have been racked up. Good luck with trying to 'negotiate' your bill...!!! Edit: You might like to read / watch this: http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/watchdog/2011/09/data_roaming.html#more
  19. Music after goals, thanks Pap, but that's a 'no' from me.

    Xfactor

You are spot on of course - but I actually find this aspect of the show pretty offensive. Setting people up to make themselves look complete idiots is out of order - especially on prime time television with millions of people looking on. But this show thrives on it, and 'Joe Public', to a certain extent fuels it - but it should be banned. The amount of people that have been given air time on x factor with the express aim of publicly humiliating themselves, is obscene. The whole show should be re-written or removed, one of the two.
  21. Damn, ruined my perfect run of getting them all wrong so far - gutted.
  22. Love this reply from one of the few.... "keep doing what your doing, Rome wasnt built in a day, but if we cant afford to get rid of the manager, could you at least give him a kick up the rear, volley it down the field and hope for the best may have worked in the lower leagues he worked in but not in this one. Playing like this Southampton fans are gonna have a field day!" Ummm, perhaps a few of the few are worried about our games....!
  23. Well said that man, could not agree more. Watching Everton fans pelt the Liverpool players with bottles and coins this afternoon really made me think that we still have massive problems at some grounds / games. As pap says - when you're on top, a little bit of humility goes a long long way. Well done to the players today - top result, and sounded like a really impressive win.
  24. My predictions are spot off so far.
