I didn't understand it when we signed him, I don't understand it now. I have no idea what the people running this club are looking at, not a clue. Apparently they have scouts who find the players, analysts that assess the players, a professional recruitment process. And we end up with Adam Armstrong who most fans can see very early on is never, ever going to be fit for purpose. And it's not just him, so many of the players that we have bought over the last two years are just woeful. So, how does everybody think Orsic looks so far, Premier League quality?

Same plus Stewart Armstrong. On form he's class, unfortunately he's not at this moment in time, and appears to have problems with fitness and injuries. What does worry me is people keep saying we need to get rid of the dross in the squad, but realistically who is going to take them off of our books? I have to say I was pretty much hoping for the same, and wanting a clean sheet as well, which would've given us a bit of confidence going into the weekend. After 30 minutes though you could see that we just weren't going to win the game, and when they got the second penalty you sort of knew it was game over. I can't remember the last time we scored 3 goals in a game, but initially I was hoping that it would've been tonight.

The clubs media department really fucks me off. Emails, YouTube, Instagram the works, peddling that 'all is rosy' at the club and the players still think they can 'turn it around'. Do they really think the fans are that stupid? I get the fact that they have a job to do, but ffs, get some reality and context, stop treating the fans like fools.

The real killer will be our total lack of urgency in the second half. We will come out thinking we have plenty of time to turn it around and just play our normal 'patient' game. Then in the last 5 minutes they'll realise that they need to get a grip, by then it'll be too late. Seen it hundreds of times with these clowns. If I was the manager I'd be screaming at them in that dressing room that I want them to go all out and get back in the game quickly.
