We were in freefall at the end of last season, we've lost two main men in Bertrand and Ings, so ultimately start weaker than last season. Unless some serious signings happen - we'll struggle, plain and simple.

Called this one weeks ago. It was evident from the beginning that he was not intending to stay, the new contract had been in place for some time, yet he refused to sign it. Overall though, happy with the decision the club had made, made the best of a bad situation. The Club would be obviously be peddling this line, irrespective of the actual circumstances because ultimately they want the most that they can get for him. Hate to say it, but contrary to the 40 - 50 million figures bandied around here I reckon we'll deal at about the 32 mil mark. Remember our owner has no funds to put into the club, not a pot to piss in, so the lure will be too great. Personally I think the deals been done, he's gone.
