  1. Seconded
  2. Riiiight I'll start - Nice one Steve and all...BUt nothing beats a radio link...So for us out here in Oz who are up at 6.45 to listen to the game...Any chance????
  3. ****ing **** of the highest ****ing order. There are no words as to how much of a **** I think this guy is. And had the audacity to call Chris Martin a "****** and cretin" and "disfunctional"...Can't say I completely disagree but no more so than king **** himself. Hypocritical.
  4. My favourite ever driver by so far, in my fave car, in my fave year. This guy was 'win at all costs' and yet such a sublime driver. Sooooo badly missed throughout the late 90s IMO.
  5. As we all know stats very rarely tell the full story. Though what you could deduce from that is that any time he has been given lengthy appearances (and I'm not talking the 2 min ones that he's got here and at Watford) he averages 1 goal every 2 games. That IS a good strike rate. 66 (34) 41 (18) and 62 (24) That last stat being at Southampton where I suspect 15+ were those ****ing annoying 5 min spells Burley use to give to random substitutes at random times to improve a grand total of **** all. Don't get me wrong I don't think Rasiak is Ronaldo (the Brasilian - not the Portuguese tit) but he does what he does. Fully agree with St Stevo post, the hype now surrounding a rejuvenated Euell is quite frankly humerous.
  6. His time at Watford has been nearly as poorly managed as it was here. That said the same could be attributed to Euell. But at the end of the day Rasiak has proven season after season that it's not a fluke...He put's the spherical object into the big netty thing time after time...And I am really not sure where this impression of Euell being a workhorse has come from less the last three games. Good god I hope it continues and I thought he was a good signing when we got him but he's hardly done sod all since getting here.
  7. Do they count any less? At the end of the day points win prizes and Euell's points tally does not equal Rasiaks points tally by a long shot. Still love the goal and celebration from Rasiak in the play offs as well.
  8. Rasiak. Ball in net wins games and I don't care if they all come off his arse. Lets not forget that for the most part (recent form aside) Euell has been useless hence him affectionately being re-named MEuell.
  9. Well... I meant more specifically when you don't choose to make comments like 'playing Gary Glitter in the family end' (which I nearly ****ed myself with laughter at) or hammer Pearson for keeping us up (which I didn't come anywhere near ****ing myself about) then you often make good and valid arguments to the topic of conversation. Such is the case on this thread and as such I agree with your opinion. Secondly I may have gotten this wrong but I think I have met you, through Bungle, in the Alfred before a game on a couple of occasions. If I am wrong, um, sorry. Does this help with your flumaxation? (I realise I made that word up)
  10. I had no idea how awful are fixture list was this month...If I had seen that two weeks ago when one of the many 'will we stay up/go down' threads were started I would have said no chance. Still I said yes and sticking with yes BUT I think we will need three points again here. Ipswich 1 - 2 Saints. Simply has to be a win.
  11. Ok I've just re-read some of your comments and I don't completely agree...Just mostly lol
  12. Why do you play the idiot so much when clearly you're not? BTW we've met so this was far from a personal attack, I was just curious. For the record I have agreed with your assesement on this thread through and through.
  13. Sure it would. Perfectly legal. I still recall it being rumoured that it would be legal if a fan managed to get onto the pitch and score. Though I can't remember if that was a ridiculous bar conversation or said by anyone with even the slightest knowledge of football. My money is on the former but you never know, it's out there for debate now.

We're ****...and we know we are...Oh! Or hopefully We're **** and we're still 2 up (for Saturday)
  15. Well that was an extraordinary backfire wasn't it? Wonder if he still has the funds to pay the internet bill to get on and post.
  16. Ahhhh thank God. Nice one fella and some class there by Saga.
  17. Can't swallow everything you say (but will defend your right to the death to say it blah blah blah) but with you a 100% on this one. Only Wigley managed to annoy me more as a Saints manager and I could almost let the guy off on the grounds that it wasn't entirely his fault. Only almost as clinging on for longer than he should of however bloody well was his fault.
  18. With Skintsaint on this one. I think he will always be a 'nearly man'. Hugely improved and a very good player, yet when it comes down to it I think he'll always capitulate like he did in the Oz Open. Nadal I think is a good punt to win the 'Grand Slam' this year. Needs to be protected and sensible due to his knees but it's not a major issue for him, not as much as it is made out. IMO naturally.
  19. Just out of personal interest can you, those of you who feel that no form of protest at all is necessary, (the bungles, the sperm johns of this discussion) tell me: What state you think the club is in? Do you think its rotten from top to bottom as others do? Do you think the current board are doing a good job? Do you think the current manager is/has done a good job? And do you really think the football is worth the money you pay? And have we moved forward at all this season? If the answer to the above is predominantly no, what do you suggest is done? If your answers to the above are yes, then why? Does the steady decline in the level and quality of football at SFC (IMO - and league placing would seem to back that up) not concern you? I ask as I am genuinely interested in your responses. I also askbecause some of you have this 'hollier than thou' attitude that is as bad as those who whine all the time. I want to know whether the 'we go and we sing regardless cause we're great' aura you have about your posts is one of blissful ignorance or a belief that there are other ways.....OR that you simply think nothing needs to change. Serious question.
  20. Yep, have to agree with you on that one. Wigley was by far and large Lowe's biggest **** up. Not only was it a repitition of the one he made with Gray, (hence it being a bigger **** up) but I never ever felt like Wigley was going to get it right. I'm not even sure he would have turned out to be a bad coach/manager at that point he just smacked of a 'Deer caught in headlights' and just never had the luck or, more importantly, the technical nouse to get the one win that may have made the future so much brighter for both himself and Southampton FC. Admirable for giving it a genuine try. A tossser for doing it badly (some awful team selections). And a clueless gimp for not giving it up sooner.
  21. Are you still alive...Old Man...You're Just a ****ing Old Man
  22. Utterly embarrassing
  23. Good...******* cowboys. I only ever subscribed because of the boxing BUT the not being able to cancel over the phone then having to wait 60 days from receiving your letter to do it by post ****ed me off. Credit card company were phoned and they thank fully cancelled the contract.
  24. We can get out of it...So have gone for yes. Do we have the resolve, experience (both manager and players) and confidence to do it. I'm not so sure.
  25. Exactly what I said....Close enough
