Surely we will have our coaches in place before the squad return, otherwise who’s doing the coaching?

Anyone know when players start to report back for pre season? assume the internationals will have a longer break too? You would assume the coaching set up will be finalised before they report back too?

I think today has shown how deals can be kept quiet if they want to.

So do we make any money from Mane sale initially? Potentially in the future if add ons are hit or not at all?

Be interested to know how we will improve our cashflow? Better structuring of transfer funds maybe, but not sure what else will improve it since buying before selling won’t

The press release from saints just says we are in talks with Long. Doesn’t say what about, could be about a coaching roll with the younger age groups. Just seems odd they didn’t mention in talks about a new contract. Sometimes it’s what isn’t said rather than what is..

Re Dennis - so agent says he’s on our long list of forwards. Fans want us to sign him, when he doesn’t then fans up in rage that board lost out to X for him. its just agent talk to drive up interest in his player!

Just because we don’t sign someone doesn’t mean we weren’t interested in them. Maybe they choose another club over our offer (Maddison for example) maybe they want to stay close to where they live now and don’t want to relocate their family. You lose players to other clubs. Some players we aren’t interested in. Let’s just see what squad we have when the window closes hey…

To be fair there aren’t many clubs who have launched theirs yet. Arsenal / Newcastle / Liverpool / West Ham / Tottenham/ Man City I think and 3 of those were yesterday or today.

I’d take him for sure, but I think WHU paid circa £20-£25M for him so I’m sure they would look to move on for at least that tbh

Massive difference in quality between those two! Wolves seem to be revamping their midfield this summer, Neves likely to leave for CL football and Moutinho is old and they are looking to replace with younger option. I imagine they would give MGW a chance

Why would the owners be on the call?! How many businesses have the owners of a business in a meeting when staff are leaving. HR were there and a senior manager. Talk about trying to make a story from nothing.

Oh come on, you know if we appoint someone people haven’t heard of they will be on his back straight away as not good enough. However if they were a good footballer then clearly they will be better coach and who will get more grace from fans.

Hopefully a change in the roles brought in too, with a proper assistant one of those coming in.

A change to the coaching set up, including a proper number 2. A number 1 keeper An older leader type centre back some form of creativity in the team a forward a change to our preferred playing style and a plan B not much needed huh
