The thing with these loans is we are starting to get a bit of depth to midfield. A few different options to change style or formation. Something we lacked last year. I stand by what I said when the sales started. Our starting 11 maybe weaker but our squad will be stronger.

Rodwell has only played 100 league games in 7 years. Any club that takes him would take him on loan IMO to see if he can actually play a season.

I think transfers appear to take longer because fans find out about them sooner these days. Twitter and the internet can be thanked for that.
