  1. Of course, you're still here but you're still one of my fave posters. Had to be said. Still curious to who you are though...
  2. Yes. Then removing it and denying it, but secretly hoping someone would 'quote' the post so it repeats itself
  3. Monty's Turban. That was me after Granty banned me for the umpteenth time. As was Saint Sausage. I now behave as my orginal handle, Crab Lungs.
  4. The only 3 people I miss are Caged Tiger 1 and 2 and chompy. 28_F.
  5. Hoedt has been bang average at best. IMO, still turd, even at Jupiler Pro level. Same with Forster, though some on here will tell you letting in 1.4 shots per game in Scotland equates to England form. As for transfers, would love us to look at the following; YOUCEF ATAL VICTOR WANYAMA ADEMOLA LOOKMAN HENRY ONYEKURU MOSES SIMON Also, Conor Gallagher (Chelsea), Reiss Nelson (Arsenal), Phil Billing (Bournemouth), Callum Wilson (Bournemouth), Emi Buendia (Norwich). Need a backup GK, and another CB desperately - missed a trick on Pongracic, genuinely a decent CB.
  6. by the letter of the law thats a red. That pr1ck will now go and score, guaranteed. Sods law.
  7. God we should be smashing this lot already. Well done saints so far, need a 2nd badly tho
  8. Like Hoedt, still young so therefore guaranteed to improve. So, with that in mind, could be a top top player.
  9. Ughhhh, you don’t have to spend 40m to get a decent CB. If you scout correctly, you can get one for sub 10m. But we don’t anymore. Massive uuuuuuuggggghh that they pr1ck Gao is still here and our form has papered over the fact he’s still in charge. Best manager since RK and he has to draw out the best in a limited bunch.
  10. Good of them to do 'match day' mockup pictures as well.
  11. Yeah, he conveniently forgets McCarthy as he's not in the top GK bracket like Forster or Gunn (who is young, therefore guaranteed to improve).
  12. Mccarthy - proper GK that doesn’t wobble the defence and does the basics mostly right Ditching the bizarre positional experiments Stephens turning into van Dijk and forming a partnership with JB Armstrong JWP stepping up 2 wins at home against struggling sides and executing a perfect game plan v Chelsea helping with confidence and momentum Ings being fit
  13. Nah sack him mate. Pellegrini, Emery or any of the other fraud managers are better. Apparently.
  14. Leicester only had 5-6 shots.. I think 3 of them were world class saves by McCarthy. Thank f()ck he’s now recognised by most as a decent GK by most rational saints fans. Still a few weirdos who rate gunn and Forster though. :-/ 2 times the woodwork 2 cleared off the line Missed 3 one on ones Had decent penalty shout denied We deserved it big time. Defence down well considering it was one of the tougher tests in the PL. with the exception of Hojberg, who was once again utterly dump, they were excellent. Amazing turnaround - and to think of the dropped points we had before we embarked on this little run...!
  15. This. You have to be categorically mental to think Hoedt would ever be any good. He won’t. Ever. On another note.... not very good for clean sheets are Antwerp..?
  16. Turned into Alderweireld. Fair play to him. All that criticism and he's getting it together, finally... and he's learning in the PL of all places. Hopefully he'll go from strength to strength now.
  17. Closer to Europe than the relegation zone now...
  18. Top performance, well done to them. Having a genuinely solid GK has helped in spades but the partnership forming between Stephens (MOM for me) and Bednarek has been absolutely crucial to us being able to turn this season around. Testament also to the character of the players also - whom I thought were proper bottlers earlier this year. Hojberg even looked like a footballer today, great stuff.
  19. It's obviously in his locker... This, Villa, that Liverpool away game....
  20. Whoever keeps saying that Adams is sh1t, clearly has never played football before. Moron. He's been superb. Seconds left now, brilliant stuff from the boys. The two CB's, JWP, Adams, Obafemi and Armstrong... top stuff
  21. Wanyama, or Kalvin Phillips but neither would happen.
  22. So austerity wasn't required, at all? We should have continued to just spend spend spend?
  23. Thicker than Dianne Abbott? Mince.
  24. You're literally p1ssing in the wind if you're trying to reason with the hard-left on this thread. They're as thick as mince.
  25. No need, I think he's proven that by his performances.
