Forster has 100% cost us more goals than McCarthy ever has, and caused mayhem in many other games just because of his inability to actually do his profession. I’m not saying McCarthy is good, but he’s a damn more reliable than Forster who for some reason, has some weird mercurial hold over some people as some sort of goalkeeping god… that would be bizarre even if he was just about competent, let alone being utterly cr4p. Who is going to be the first to be all wistful and nostalgic and remember the times when had 1 or 2 good games under Koeman…

McCarthy can do the basics at least. This absolute clown f()cks up in almost every game, but gets away with a lot of his clownery.

I’d agree with that. Bednarek is rated by too many people also. Then again, this is a support base that also thinks Forster is a world class goalkeeper. And Hoedt ‘just needed time’.
