Nothing what I said previous was fabricated or meshed together from forums, tweets etc. It was, however, a genuine perspective, though heavily slanted. I'll give myself a pat on the back for at least sharing it with people.

Of course he's gone for the money and he won't be there longer than two seasons, I guarantee that.

What Koeman said was correct, despite the 'leaks' about his character, what he demanded. He was happy to see out his final year and talk after that. We wanted him to sign a bumper deal or sod off... Then there was a stand off, then Everton began pursuing again... It was a deadlock, so RK did decide to sod off. As for players being bullied, not liking him... For someone who we are told wasn't very popular, he's given us 2 record points hauls and qualified for Europe twice, all with having to deal with major player departures... So that should tell you something. The only two confirmed comments about Koeman leaving has come from Long and Davis, who are disappointed he's gone. I can't comment for all of the players but there is not a groundswell of relief that he's gone, more a curiousness of who is to come in next; that could determine the futures of a couple of them.

What an absolute load of waffle. Defo not ITK
-
He will not repeat his success here but he'll do ok. Not so much worried about losing him, it's who we replace him with...
-
That's just been lifted from here in the main, pieced together and composed as an ITK story and wherever there's a gap, filled in with the most commonly held view. That's not ITK, that's pure supposition.

They'll be trouble in Marseille tonight

I'm assuming Harry Kane won a raffle to take the set pieces ?

Vardy is made for this. Those two thirty something centre halves will get roasted. We've been superb.
-
I think Vitor P's firebrand personality will rule him out. Marco Silva and Roger Schmidt on the other hand...
-
They have a point. Just look at the shadow still cast by the Old Westminsters, Heanor Town and New Brighton Tower. We're huge were huge were huge were huge yes we are yes we are yes we are. To plagiarise and amend a famous CB Fry quote.

One more to consider reading, less tactics, more story http://www.thetacticsroom.com/articles/2015/5/26/roger-schmidts-footballing-philosophy-and-his-breathtakingly-brilliant-bayer-leverkusen-side

A bit more on Schmidt here http://theinsidechannel.com/guide-roger-schmidts-tactics-bayer-leverkusen/

And Schmidt knows Mane too....

Silva, Howe, AVB... Aren't they still in their 30's? . Just read up on Roger Schmidt though, he's an interesting proposition.

This. I remember the ones who had seen it over the entire process, saying how fantastic it was. Why oh why didn't someone say "mate, that's a bit sh1t to be honest, mind if we take a rain check on this for a few months" That said, absolutely delighted it got past that stage though or we'd have never have had THAT day
-
Murat Yakin does have a fantastic hairline so I wouldn't be opposed to this appointment. Can he rock skinny trousers and a blazer though?
-
This. Frustrating, but on the whole, has made an excellent contribution to us. If he leaves, thank you Graziano

Whilst a lot of what you've said is true, I don't believe Koeman was as bad as you and everyone is saying. Tactically, he's probably the least frustrating of all the recent managers in my opinion. Many of his substitutions were decent and when we did get into a slump (as many clubs do) he was one of the few who recognised it AND acted upon it (change of formation, back to basics and discovering and implementing methods to arrest the situation). But yes, if he was always going to go (as alluded to, I personally don't have any word on this myself) then to get £5m for someone who was going to walk anyway isn't bad business at all. Oh well, time to move on and see what the next part of the project is...

I'd suggest you read my posts since. On the whole, I've been very happy with how things turned out and I suspect I wasn't the only one who was pleasantly surprised with how well we've done. If it's any consolation, I feel sorry for people like yourself who still, after 2 years, feel obliged to judge my character on a few posts I made at the time (which was,for what it's worth, to the best of my knowledge). Oh well.
