Marco Silva please!

That picture

I'd suggest you read my posts since. On the whole, I've been very happy with how things turned out and I suspect I wasn't the only one who was pleasantly surprised with how well we've done. If it's any consolation, I feel sorry for people like yourself who still, after 2 years, feel obliged to judge my character on a few posts I made at the time (which was,for what it's worth, to the best of my knowledge). Oh well.

What a nice chap you are. If you're looking for delusion, look a bit closer to home. How's the Isco signing coming along? #foreverintheshadow
-
Shouldn't have googled that
-
Blimey, you're right there. Is it me, or does Cocu look simultaneously young and old? A kinda of weird hybrid of Antonio Conte and Quique Sanchez Flores
-
Loving these manager comments And yes, FdB does have quite the furrowed brow. There's something very Steve Stifler about him too. Right I'm off to Google image Philip Cocu
-
Don't fancy burnleys opening few fixtures if true
-
I believe FdB comes with a snug grey tank top though, so whilst hes not got a solid coiffured mane, he does have the look of university campus IT manager. A small plus point, I suppose.

God, West Ham are a disgusting club. They'll be all billy big b0ll0cks this summer I guarantee; they'll bid for everyone who is a name and they'll get turned down time and again. Then when time is running out they'll panic and end up signing Daryl Janmaat for 21m to announce their arrival as a footballing powerhouse

I'm not sure if many would like his style either. He's notoriously inflexible too, so we wouldn't see the tactical nous displayed from Koeman when things went pear shaped (going 5 at the back, back to basics etc) For me, there's not many good ones out there; big names, but average coaches. FDB hasn't really a track record that would suggest he'd cut it in the Prem (plus there's the style of footy thing). AVB has a decent one, but is renowned for bland style of footy. Pellegrini looks like a a great name and has had genuine success with middle-sized clubs but his limitations were woefully exposed with more regularity on the past 12 months with City turning in some real abject performances. Martinez is a busted flush and will probably rock up at Swansea when Guidolin cops it and Moyes is uninspiring, if not solid. I never thought of Eddie Howe as a Saints manager but part of me thinks he'd actually be OK; he's still learning but if it's a five year project then it'd be good to have someone around who isn't on a timescale to achieve immediate success, nor require huge funds to do so. His style of footbal is good to watch, too. For me though, and I've said this before: Marco Silva, Olympiakos manager. He's just won the league there at a canter but it's his style of football at Sporting Lisbon which interested me. They were an interesting team to watch. Once again, a passing team but with incisiveness and when required, a high press. Had notable success with Estoril and won the cup with Sporting before being cruelly disposed of for Jorge Jesus last year. **** it: anyone who can sport a decent hairline, tan, a skinny white shirt with the sleeves rolled up, skinny trousers and skinny tie gets my vote.

Speaking as someone with a Norwood scale 2, I wholeheartedly agree. On another note, Zenit fans couldn't stand black players either, so perhaps their judgement isn't all that it's cracked up to be. Me personally, didn't enjoy watching AVB teams do the pass for passings sake thing, 70% possession etc etc but there's probably scope for an improvement in his style. I understood what his teams were trying to do, but the execution of it was poor; kinda sub-Pochettino or Pochettino-lite.

If and when Koeman goes, feel free to play Les Reed bingo in his next PR vid sentences to this effect (full house) 'High calibre of candidate' 'More/larger volume of applicants than ever before' 'Right fit for the club' 'Buy into our ethos/strategy' 'Always planned for this eventuality' 'Attractive club/proposition' Single words (one line) 'Structure' 'Applicants' 'Excited/exciting' 'Prospective' 'Plan' Etc etc
-
Zenit fans couldn't stand his style of football. Bale had a huge influence on his relative success at Spurs
-
For someone who was almost universally hated, he got bloody good results
-
Totally uninspiring if true; satisfactory at City, but some of his buys and their performances stank Would prefer Howe, QSF, Sampoli or Marco Silva Definitely not FdB, AVB, Moyes, Martinez or Giggs
-
And how would he fit into a 5 year plan?
-
AVB would be ideal.. If you like 70% possession and dour football
-
Coming round to the idea of Eddie Howe now.
-
CB, one of your minions has broke rank.

As do I. Though don't let that meddle with your weird agenda. Never been in raptures about things going wrong, though like anyone else on here, I reserve the right to give an opinion. Off you go now, back to your little club of Internet bullies #everysip

I've not said the sky is falling in at all. Read my posts. F*** me, the people who accuse others of beings dins appear to be the real dins..
