Blimey, you're backing him to score?! I reckon he'll be a huge let down again. It'll be the usual crap from Hodgson.... and if all fit, something like; Hart, Baines, Clyne, Smalling, Cahill, Wilshere, Henderson, Welbeck, Rooney, Lallana, Sturridge. Left out will be the likes of Vardy, Kane, Chamberlain, Alli etc. All the exciting players who make things happen ditched for all the usual washed-up, overhyped rubbish he seems fond of. He'll probably find a way to shoehorn Gibbs and Jones in too, knowing him. W4nker.

That won't happen either, sadly. It'll be that absolutely useless c()nt Henderson doing nothing.

I actually renewed my SW subscription last night to comment on this (though it hasn't be activated yet!) as I just felt compelled to say the following; Well, I take it all back. That alone was one of the best goalkeeping performances I've ever seen. I think someone said on here or another thread that it reminded them of the Brad Friedel performance versus us for Blackburn, and I concur. Fraser Forster was absolutely incredible and four clean sheets in four games is an absolute tell-tale sign. He's come back better than ever... or maybe I didn't really give him credit for just how good he is. If ever a man deserved the title "The Great Wall", it was Fraser. Still in awe. Fair f()cking play.

Forster. F()cking hell.

I like Pelle but I don't think this is the game for him. With Mane and Long up top, it's a good "out", keeps the Gunners on their toes and we're quicker on the break without him.
-
I think I'm ready to admit that without Forster tonight, we'd be losing comfortably.

long shot but... anyone got a spare!?!

What teams do you go to watch apart from Saints?
Crab Lungs replied to kwsaint's topic in The Saints
Roma (been once), Terek Grozny (won me a lot of money once and a quirky team to follow) and going to Dortmund in March, which I'm immensely looking forward to. -
Disgustingly overrated and sh1t attitude. Obviously fancies himself as a big time player, yet only Stoke and Newcastle have bid for him. Big ahahahahaha.

Therein lies the problem. Probably has a few half-decent drills but all in all, not good enough. -

Really? I heard the same. -
Crook banned me from his Twitter just before Wanyama signed but not before he told me I didn't know what I was talking about. I just politely insinuated that he was talking rubbish and that Wanyama was signing. I'll always remember the hoards of Southampton fans who agreed with him and abused me

Confirmed: Caulker loan cancelled; Moves on loan to Liverpool

This is fantastic news absolutely brilliant -
Said Rowett a while ago. Sampaoli would be incredible. Macro Silva a good shout too.

Rotten.

Btw... The board should acknowledge they've recruited crap and properly back Koeman. If that doesn't work then go another route but he really wasn't backed properly in the summer.

Same here about Adkins. Beautiful patterns of play. Given a half decent squad of attacking players and he'd produce a helluva an exciting team to watch. I remember everyone masturbating over the 0-0 v Everton in Poch's first game and I said on here I wasn't that impressed at all, seemed like we'd lost our fizz. Poch's style, obviously, wasn't as exciting in an attacking sense but more in a defensive way... But I missed the Adkins triangles!

Caulker. WTF. Utterly terrible. Embarrassing.

That did amuse me, I love that they actually named them as well. If I read it right though, doesn't it say 30m euros? :scared: I assume we made Dejan Lovren a non-refundable purchase then

James Corden, a million times over. Just the unfunny fat bloke down the pub who everyone tries to avoid.

I see the Old Wykehamists won 5-0 against Uxbridge. Get in.

And there he is.

I reckon it's like watching a League One keeper sometimes, yes. Potential? He's 27, I don't think he'll get much better if I'm honest as he's now entering his prime but still struggles with a lot of the basics; whereas Stekelenburg is far, far more polished and could do everything that Forster can't do and do it well. For me, there's better Championship keepers than Forster; Marshall, Heaton, McGregor, Smithies, Martin etc...
