  1. Welcome to Adkins Tours. "We will take you to various stadiums in the UK and Europe"
  2. Simples!
  3. True, but what I find even more positive, is that even though we have a good infrastructure at the club, Cortese has stated he only wants to improve on these rather than just being content. Compare that to the talk of the new (old) owner at Pompey, who doesn't want to be there in the first place.
  4. See end of this thread: http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?27507-Jason-Puncheon Would make it even more absurd, incomprehensible and unique to Saints.
  5. How about Queen's "Bicycle Race"?
  6. You can take your bike on the train, but your ticket will be a wee bit more expensive than a regular ticket. You can also take your bike with you on the bus, but only for long-distance trips, but it'll have to ride in the boot, I'm afraid. The bikes in pre-season seemed a bit expensive, as they were part of the set-up that got Pardew sacked, so the question remains: Why do you even want to get on a bike? I also believe they had to get on a bus sometime yesterday, as there are no airports within walking distance from Boundary Park. So even though they may have taken a plane, they still had to get on a bus. Unless of course they biked from the airport to the ground. Now I'm also confused. Cortese, we want answers!!
  7. Doesn't someone have to open the door for him, if he gets on his bike to leave the building? And I do believe you need a ticket to get your bike on the bus, even though the bike gets thrown in the boot of the bus, unlike they do on a train, as it has no boot. So the question is: Who opens the door for him and who does he buy a ticket from?
  8. Things are done much more quietly at St. Mary's now. We'll only hear it, when the player has signed. Not a sniff untill then.
  9. Absolutely fantastic. Well done to the boys and Adkins.
  10. What are the odds of Pompey making it to the end of the season?
  11. Great link! That will keep me "not working" for a while now
  12. I find it reassuring, that no matter what XI we want to play against Oldham, I have every confidence in each and every selection. Our first XI is not a 100% certain, and the players on the bench are more than just cover. They are alternatives and competition. Something I find very healthy. We can naturally always improve and another signing this window apart from Chaplow and Guly (did we sign him?), would make this a great team for the second part of the season.
  13. Seeing that Oldham are bit of a thuggish team, I would go with: Davis Richardson Fonte Seaborne Harding Puncheon Hammond Chaplow Lallana Lambert Barnard with subs: Bart Butterfield Jaidi Dickson Morgan Chamberlain Guly Every game is a massive one now. There are no easy games from here on in. Every team will just have to look at the table, to know Saints is no easy fixture.
  14. I hope, he doesn't sign for Saints, as he's a liability with a huge ego. His time at both Silkeborg and FC Nordsjaelland hasn't proven or been good enough for him to add anything positive to Saints. He thinks himself good enough to be a striker in the Premier Leauge, but hasn't shown anything like that while playing in Denmark.
  15. Born in a small village in southern Denmark, every Saturday afternoon we would watch one game from England, saw a small piece on Ekelund and MLT and that was it. Been supporting Saints from afar ever since. Now lives in Norway and have only been to one game at St. Mary's my entire life (2004 season vs. Newcastle). Proud of being a continental, glory hunting, not-proper Saints fan
  16. Not happy about P*mp*y then?! :-)
  17. Have we signed him yet?! Can't wait to see him in the treament room with Mr. Connolly! Good thing we're getting a bigger treatment room. Does it come with personalized cubicles for the regulars?
  18. Thanks ESB!... Good laugh and I'll try to keep it all in mind. Fantastic post!
  19. Where can I find a "Skate Language to English Language"-dictionary?
  20. Why would you get shot in South Korea? Guess it's a cultural thing. Where was this during the World Cup in Korea/Japan?
  21. Kevin Keegan
  22. The team that would never play, because most of them would be in the treament room: GK: Michael Stensgaard RB: John Beresford CB: Garry Monk CB: Michael Svensson LB: Graeme Le Saux RM: Andrei Kanchelskis CM: David Hughes CM: David Howells LM: Stuart Ripley ST: Agustin Delgado ST: David Connolly (no thread about treatment room without him)
  23. Danish Saint

    Connolly

I'm sure all this about Connolly being injured a lot is all Corteses fault!! Cortese OUT.....and Connolly back in the treatment room!!!!!!
  24. Danish Saint

    Connolly

Han er uden tvivl klubbens bedste angriber, når han er spilleklar Men han vil sandsynligvis være tilbage i rehabilitering inden længe.
