However, as the Belarus game is on terestrial TV at that time, I think they will split the screens between Belarus and Russia Vs Germany (which Russia have to win to keep their automatic qualification hopes alive). I shall definitely be in said sports bar on Wednesday though, for a match that will certainly be shown, proudly wearing my England shirt of course!!!

From recent reading of this forum I wouldn't go so far as to say St. Lard and St. Stevo are trolls but they certainly do like to post something different to the majority in an, 'Oooohh, look at me everyone' girly type of way. Well, how many games do you think a manager should have after taking over a relegated team that has recently been in administration? So he has had 10 games. What if he is sacked now and the next manager doesn't do any better? Should we also sack him after 10 games? Is 10 games the standard by which every manager should be judged? Thomas is back in contention for tonight. At the fan's forum AP said that Murty was about 3 weeks away, which means it should now be two. Perry is certainly more experienced than James at RB but he would offer NOTHING going forward and he has a lot less pace than James, so even moderately paced winger would cause him problems. AP has said a few times now that our squad is to big. So I really don't think we will bring another RB in when we DO have options for that position.

Hammond would be the obvious choice. Other contenders could be Murty, Jaidi and Lambert.

OB, All that Up and Away said plus two other little facts that you ignored/got wrong: 1. Cortese said yesterday that ML was ready with the 500k deposit 3 days before Pinnacle paid theirs. 2. We have bought (signed for a transfer fee) 2 players - Lambert and Hammond; as well as re-signing Kelvin and Fish Mills and paying the signing on fees and wages for Harding, Murty and Jaidi, and the loan fees and wages for Trotman, Mellis and Waigo. I honestly don't think even an (unlikely) MLT/KK duo would have brought better players in (especially as we would have had a lot less money to spend, what with paying back a HUGE loan an' all).

Oscar Gobern wasn't even on the bench for MK Dons on Saturday. it was his brother (Lewis) who started for them. As for Hammond, he certainly does appear to be what we have been missing since Chris Marsden went. Given the choice I would have preferred it if we had signed him instead of both Wotton and Spiderman last year.
