As per usual: Saints the better team but not making the most of their superior football. Predicted 1-1 and that's how it finished. Not overly disappointed, but I hope Stoke go down next season; their version of football is horrible!! Now looking forward to an interesting (and hopefully very fruitful) summer transfer window!!!

Yes, maybe said players and agents will drag their feet until all is resolved. NC has said this will be at the end of this month. Therefore, everything in MP's statement is relevant leaving your comment to be the one reminiscent of a shoe-maker!!

You don't see how it is possible that they will keep working towards their goal as they believe (or at least, MP does) that they will still be here next season? No, of course you wouldn't. I am sure it will sit much more comfortably in your mind that: MP won't bother turning to train the players this week; that the team selection will be 'names out of a hat'; that no thought will be given to which players they will try to sign NEXT MONTH, despite MP saying they are having a meeting on that subject today; that NC will just go lay on the beach until his contract is sorted, or terminated; etc; etc. Why look at anything positively, or even with an open mind, when a negative slant can be applied!!!!

I've only read a couple of random pages, but would just like to say I hope Cortese stays. I didn't agree with how he handled Adkins sacking, but we have certainly prospered under his leadership.

Indeed......... I keep thinking back to watching the Saints/Brighton match at SMS a couple of seasons back and their horrible time-wasting from the first minute, diving, fouling, trying to cheat at every possible opportunity and have found myself wanting Palace to win this more and more. However, I want Watford to win the final regardless of tonight's outcome.
